My wife and I had a great day at the Market and elsewhere in Tbilisi. We learned a bunch and enjoyed meeting him and his many market friends and of course partaking of the food and drink.
I can’t thank Paul enough for his authentic introduction to the food and culture of Georgia. His encyclopedia of knowledge and vast network offered a unique opportunity to experience the tastes, smells, and history of food directly from the source. Smiles, laughter, and many celebratory toasts of wine and chacha filled the day. I retuned home with wonderful memories and a desire to return to Tbilisi!
Extra-ordinary. Paul knows Tbilisi - and it’s people so well. You’ll meet the ‘Spice Girl’, the honey lady, the brilliant bakers. And then finish in a wine bar or restaurant that’s for insiders. Don’t miss…
Cheers, Graham! That was such a fantastic day!
We really loved this tour. Paul is the perfect guide to take you to the market and show you around. He makes a really fun day out of shopping, eating and drinking so you are able to relax and not worry about what comes next. He makes sure to show you all the hidden corners and special vendors. There’s lots of stops to learn about (and taste!) local specialties. Lunch and the wine tasting afterwards were the perfect way to wind down after all of the excitement of the market. He also knows a ton about the history of Tbilisi/Georgia and is great at answering questions and giving context. We highly recommend his tour if you’re in Tbilisi!!
