Upplev toppvinprovning på tre av de finaste vingårdarna på denna privata halvdagstur från Kapstaden till Paarl och Stellenbosch med en personlig reseguide/förare i ett privat fordon. Njut av en ost- och vinprovning på Fairview Wine and Cheese Estate, Biltong och vinprovning på Marianne Wine Estate och en vinprovning på Babylonstoren. Avsluta dagen med en förbi Stellenbosch stadsorienteringstur - den näst äldsta staden i Sydafrika och hem till mer än 200 vingårdar. Detta är den perfekta turen för gäster med begränsad tid eller som bara vill besöka några vingårdar i Cape Winelands.

Strax efter hämtning på ditt boende i Kapstaden kommer vi att köra längs riksväg N1 mot Fairview Wine and Cheese Estate.
Vid vår ankomst till Fairview Wine and Cheese Estate kommer din reseguide att eskortera dig till vinprovningsområdet. När du strövar mellan de 4 vinprovningsbaljorna och den förtjusande ost- och krydddelien kommer du att ha möjlighet att smaka på sex av de bästa vinerna och ostarna som produceras i denna region. Vin och ost finns att köpa.
Vi kör en kort bit till Babylonstoren. Babylonstoren ligger i bakgrunden av bergen Simonsberg, Du Toitskloof och Franschhoek och är en av de vackraste vingårdarna i Cape Winelands. Gården har en frukt- och grönsaksträdgård och en gård-till-bord-restaurang som heter Babel (nödvändigt att boka). Det finns två andra matställen på gården, Greenhouse och Bageriet. Greenhouse serverar luncher och förfriskningar i picknickstil, medan bageriet serverar informella middagar. Vi spenderar 1 timme på en vinprovningsresa med 3 eller 7 av de finaste vinerna som finns att köpa på Babylonstoren.
Vårt sista vingårdsstopp kommer att vara vid Marianne Wine Estate. Marianne producerar några av de bästa rödvinssorterna i Sydafrika. Här kommer vi att njuta av en Biltong- och vinprovning. Marianne menar att biltong (torkat kött) förhöjer smakerna på deras vin som produceras. Mariannes Floreal-vin handplockades av kocken Gordon Ramsey för Nelson Mandelas 90-årsdag på Buckingham Palace.
Vi tar en naturskön bilresa genom Dorp Street i staden Stellenbosch, den näst äldsta staden i Sydafrika, på en orienteringstur förbi staden. Se de historiska husen i Cape Dutch-stil och det berömda Stellenbosch University.
Därifrån tar vi oss tillbaka till Kapstaden för avlämning på ditt boende mellan 14:00 och 14:30

Gordon was an amazing tour guide and took us to some of the best wineries in Stellenbosch. We did not feel rushed and we were able to really soak in the experience. I highly recommend this half day tour if you’re looking to get out of the city and see some beautiful landscapes nearby.

We LOVED our tour guide, Ray who was so professional and informative, and the wine venues, themselves, were great. Viator, however, isn’t to be trusted with scheduling. We’ve only used them twice, in two different parts of the world, and they botched our schedules, both times. Go direct with local tour guides and bypass Viator if at all possible.

We had a wonderful day with our private driver- It was a last minute booking and the driver Thomas was so kind and fun! Very knowlegeable about wines and the area. He chose 3 different wineries - each had food (usually to purchase) and a lovely tasting. He would make sure that they would seat us right away by communicating with those in charge. I highly recommend this trip!

We visited 2 estates, Demorgenzen and Marianne. Both were pleasant and picturesque. Reagan was our friendly& well versed guide&driver, he shares some knowledge and history of the estates and we will definitely be back to visit more farms and ask for him by name.

We had the best day visiting Stellenbosch. Reagan was the best guide, with excellent local knowledge and kept us laughing throughout. We went to Demorganzan and marianne winery’s with a lovely stop off in Stellenbosch town in between, visiting the local museum. It was a perfect day out, with the nicest guide we could have asked for. Would highly recommend doing this tour and ask for Reagan!
