Vi tar dig genom den underbara staden Muscat där vi först kommer att besöka den stora moskén för fotostopp som, bland ett par andra, är en av de största 1-delade handgjorda iranska mattorna i världen. Mattan väger hela 21 ton och kan bekvämt ta emot upp till 20 000 tillbedjare.
Mohammed al Ameen-moskén ligger i Bawshar, Muscat, Sultanatet av Oman. den färdigställdes och öppnades i juni 2014. Den är också känd som Bahwan-moskén och Bawshar-moskén.

Muttrah Fort är ett historiskt fort i wilayat Muttrah i Muscat. Fortet ligger på en dominerande position på kullarna med utsikt över den naturliga hamnen i Muttrah, vilket skulle ha gjort det till en ganska ointaglig position att försvara Muttrah från attacker samtidigt som det tillåter observation av det omgivande territoriet från dess vakttorn.
Al Alam Palace "Flaggans palats" är ett palats som ligger i Old Muscat, Oman. Det användes som ett ceremoniellt palats av Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said. En av monarkens sex sultanbostäder, har en historia på över 200 år, och byggdes under överinseende av Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, den sjunde direkta farfar till Sultan Qaboos.
Al Jalali Fort, eller Ash Sharqiya Fort, är ett fort i hamnen i Old Muscat, Oman. Fortet byggdes av portugiserna under Filip I av Portugal på 1580-talet för att skydda hamnen efter att Muscat två gånger hade plundrats av osmanska styrkor. Det föll till omanska styrkor 1650. Under inbördeskrigen mellan 1718 och 1747 erövrades fortet två gånger av perser som hade bjudits in att hjälpa en av de rivaliserande imamerna. Fortet byggdes omfattande om senare.
Fort Al-Mirani är ett fort, ursprungligen byggt av portugiserna, i hamnen i staden Old Muscat, Oman.

The city tour of Muscat was great all around. Our tour guide Ali is very nice, relaxed and made the tour pleasant and interesting. We did the half day Muscat City Tour with Khalil as our guide. It was excellent. We were picked up on time in a 4WD, the car was spotless. Khalil spoke superb English and he has a very relaxed manner which we enjoyed and he provided great information on all the sites we visited. We definitely use Sunshine Tours again.

Ahmed was the best guide, he was patient and explain everything to us, we did a lot of questions and he always have a kind answer, Omán have a very nice culture and the best way to ge around is with sunset deserts

We booked a half day tour of Muscat and had Nasr as our guide. We fully enjoyed the whole tour and he was so kind to spend extra time with us so we had something to do before our transfer left Muscat later that afternoon.
