Rundtur till Halpewatte teplantage i Ella, Sri Lanka

Vår verksamhet startar runt 8.00 och pågår till 16.30. Mellan dessa tider kan du komma och ta din tur. Dessutom tar en tur normalt cirka 40 minuter till 1 timme att slutföra. När du tar plantageturen måste du delta i teplockningen. Före sessionen utförde vi den vanliga dyrkan av Lord Ganesh vid en liten kovil nära plantagen. Du får också din korg för att skörda te, samt en liten mottu. Om du bestämmer dig för att delta i teplockningsaktiviteten, kan du kanske bära den vanliga teplockarklädseln av en omlott saree eller sarong. Koppla av mitt i den hisnande utsikten över oändlig grönska, tegårdar och omgivande landsbygd på vårt Sky Café från en bergstopp på 300 m över marken / 1300 m över havet. Njut av en unik teprovningsupplevelse och upptäck hur och varför Ceylon-te finns i olika kvaliteter och smaker för att passa olika paletter världen över.

Vi är stolta över att vara en av de bästa tetillverkarna i Sri Lanka och prisade för att vara en av de största tillverkarna av Ceylon-te. Omgiven av frodiga gröna tefält erbjuder fabriken ett antal aktiviteter, från vandring genom grönskande trädgårdar med grönt te, teplockning och lärande om tetillverkningsprocessen till att slutligen njuta av din egen kopp för att slutföra teresan.

We really enjoyed the plantation tour. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable as was the lady directing the tea tasting. Our group wasn’t too big at 0930 and we quickly got started - tours seemed to run every 30 minutes.
