Magic Arabia was the tour operator of Voyage Prive' in Oman. Except for the boat tour to the islands, which was also carried out by Nobles, services were rather poor. The guides did not have a good command of the Italian language, they were rather bored and eager to complete the visit as soon as possible. The pick-up time at the hotel, indicated for 8-8.30, was never respected, and carried out always earlier, even at 7.15, however unjustifiably since the tour was done in mid-November, so with absolutely normal temperatures. We have protested several times demanding to respect the timetables set by Voyage Prive' without any result. In Muscat we waited in front of the Great Mosque for more than an hour and a half for the arrival of the guide and other visitors without plausible reasons. The visit inside the Opera, contrary to schedule, was not carried out, only a short tour of no interest in the luxurious shopping mall attached. In the Muscat museum, perhaps the most interesting thing, very quick and mostly unguided visit. Tour Operator not recommended.
3 excursions were organized by Magic Arabia, with great professionalism. Muscat's half-day visit was exciting and well designed for a first contact. Snorkelling trips with Noble Marina (Damaniyat Islands and South Bandar Jissah) great, day trip with Mohamed guide to Wadi Bani Khalid and the desert joyful! A well balanced program of 4 outings for 9 days. Responsive agency we recommend.
Very interesting excursion x the places and especially for the professionalism of the guide who accompanied us and made us appreciate what to admire.
Picked up from our hotel, Hilton Garden Inn. Nice air conditioned Audi driven by our Omani driver, Mohammed who was very friendly. Taken to see the royal opera house, grand mosque, fort, the Sultan’s palace, with lots of fantastic views and other photo opportunities. Our favourite visit was to the fish market! Bought a fresh fish which we had cooked for us (‘Sha-ari’ fish).
