Turen börjar på Plaza de Zocodover, stadens hjärta. Här kommer jag att erbjuda dig en historisk introduktion till Toledo och berätta om dess betydelse som huvudstad i Visigoth Kingdom och dess fascinerande blandning av kulturer. Vi kommer att dra nytta av detta torg för att placera oss i den medeltida stadens sammanhang och på så sätt bereda vägen för följande stopp.
Från Zocodover går vi mot Alcázar i Toledo, en fästning som har bevittnat många historiska händelser, inklusive det spanska inbördeskriget. Sara is awesome. The tour should be redesigned - likely increased in length to allow for a look inside a few places. Current format provides great historical background and context and some exploration (e.g. “we are now in once was the Muslim quarter”) but I would suggest going inside the Mezquita and going inside the most important synogogue even if it’s just for 10 minutes each before ending with the Cathedral.
