Välkommen till vår stadsgård! Apikol är ett urbant jordbruksdestilleri beläget i centrala Quebec. Guidade turer leds av en av biodlaren och destillatörens delägare. Du kommer att fascineras av binas värld under observationen av bin som arbetar i vår bikupa (4 årstider). Efteråt kommer du att upptäcka hur vi gör våra hantverksmässiga alkoholer av vår honung. Det hela slutar med provsmakning av vår alkohol.

Den 60 minuter långa rundturen inkluderar: • Besök tillsammans med en guide (en av ägarna) som täcker tolkningen av biet, utvinning av honung och dess omvandling, jäsning, destillation, åldring, formulering och tappning. (45 minuter) • Provsmakning av 3 produkter, ledda av en av våra experter, inklusive mousserande mjöd och 2 sprit bland våra 4, att välja efter dina preferenser. (Möjlighet att lägga till andra mot ett litet tillägg). (Längd: 15 minuter)

This was an informative and fun tour, Fred was knowledgable and explained everything very clearly in excellent English. We really enjoyed all his analogies when explaining about the bee life cycle, bee hives and honey production. The distillery process was explained very well whilst looking at the processing equipment. At the end we tasted 3 of their products and had the chance to buy their alcoholic drinks as well as jars of their locally produced honey. Many thanks Fred for an excellent way to spend a rainy afternoon in Quebec City😊

Urban farming, master distillery, science lesson, Quebec history — this tour had it all. Co-owner Fred has obvious pride in his work and is excellent at conveying the art of distilling and the pride of local eco-tourism reigned throughout. We had my children on the tour and he was very good at including them throughout. Really — a great tour!
