Vår tur heter "Godafoss Express" det är en tur och retur shuttle från Akureyri till Godafoss vattenfall. På väg tillbaka från Godafoss turen kan sluta direkt till hamnen eller i närheten centrum men det mest populära valet är till Botaniska trädgården. Detta är inte långt från Downtown och Port med en trevlig promenad i downhill. Andra avlämningsval (avtala med chaufför) som besöker andra attraktioner i Akureyri är tillgängliga (ZipLine Akureyri, Forrest Lagoon, Aviation Icelandic Museum, Motorcycle Icelandic Museum) entrébiljetter ingår inte. OBS: För dem som är villiga att förlänga 60/90 minuter sina besök ger oss den tid som krävs för vår shuttle att återvända till den botaniska trädgården eller till centrum (efter att ha gjort arrangemang med föraren), är vi glada att erbjuda en retur till hamnen med den första tillgängliga shuttle på plats. Denna tjänst, även om den erbjuds utan extra kostnad, är en tilläggstjänst och inte som en integrerad eller förfallen del av den köpta turen.

Gudarnas magnifika vattenfall - Godafoss
Eftersom bergen som omger trädgården ligger på havsbotten av Eyjafjorden, en av Islands längsta fjordar, ger de intressanta förutsättningar för växttillväxt. Trädgården har en avdelning dedikerad till inhemsk och naturaliserad isländsk flora och dessutom kan de odla ett överraskande antal härdiga perenna arter, över 6400 totalt. Färg läggs till varje år genom att plantera en uppsjö av ettåriga.
Under besöket från Botaniska trädgården med en trevlig promenad i downhill kunder kan besluta att besöka båda kyrkorna Cattolica och Lutheran (fri entré) och konstmuseum (biljett krävs) och även den typiska Akureyri centrum innan nå hamnen några hundra meter långt bort.

Does exactly what it says on the tin, straightforward friendly transfer to the dramatic falls & then multi- drop options on return. Excellent
Seeing Godafoss was a wonderful experience. The ride was not super long and we spent about 45 mins at the waterfall, which is beautiful. Thereafter, our guide took us to a scenic photo spot before going to the botanical gardens. He even waited for us before dropping us off at the city center. This is a great tour if you want to see the waterfall and come back into Akureryi to hang out in the town.
Lello, the very friendly Neapolitan, professional, showed us and let us enjoy the wonderful Godafoss waterfalls and all the beauties of Akureyri. Godafoss water falls are easy to walk to. Toilets and cafe also available at the water falls. Our driver very friendly

Lovely half day tour. Godafoss falls amazing but be aware the higher the climb, the more uneven the path/steps are. Decent footwear recommended

We signed up for a trip at the Akureyri port. The trip to the waterfalls and the road were lovely. The Italian driver was lovely, explained things well and interestingly. He answered questions very well. We enjoyed the driver REFAL or Lulu. the price were cheaper then in another place.

The driver of the pick up van was extremely nice gentleman. My concern with the trip was it was a 40 minute drive to the destination and one which was terrifying. The gentleman was a elderly gentleman late 60s perhaps I’m not sure but he did not have very good control of the vehicle and drove recklessly up the mountain, and through the windy roads there was a vehicle in front of us in which was taking their time. Our driver became very impatient and was tailgating them and had to slam on the brakes several times to avoid from colliding into them, I just wanna bring it to the attention that I don’t think that the driver should be transporting individuals and putting their life at risk there were many moments on the commute, where all of the passengers looked around at each other out of fear
Your comment to our driver it's inappropriate and not true, (is this the reason you didn't told us nothing in person?) and... today there was no wind at all by the way... he drives from many years on this job with a proper D driver commercial permission and his age it's only a guarantee of big experience. Among 16 peoples on the bus you're the only one complaining about his driving skills, the others at the end of the tour gave him a nice tip and many thanks... Anyway this complain is not a reason to ask a full refund as you did and we rejected through VIATOR. Next time speak in person with the company owner and search for explanations and/or refund directly if is due or not, before file to VIATOR
This was by far the best tour we have done in Iceland!!! Rafaelle was a wonderful tour guide and we can’t wait to come back with our kids for a visit. He is originally from Napoli and has been in Iceland for quite a few years. Speaks great English and is always making sure you’re having a great time! Highly recommend him!!!!

Great way to see a remarkable waterfall within easy travel time from Akureyri! Our tour guide and driver, Lenlo, was personable and knowledgeable. As well as delivering us to the falls and back quickly and safely, his commentary on the scenery and history surrounding Godafoss added greatly to our tour experience. As a bonus, Lenlo explained about the Akureyri Botanical Gardens and dropped us off there at the end of the tour. The Gardens were enchanting and the perfect end to a great tour experience! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who has a few hours to explore these sights around Akureyri!G
