3. Sevansjön - Den höga bergssjön Sevan är "Armeniens pärla". Sjön Sevan – belägen på en höjd av 1 900 m över havet i centrum av det armeniska höglandet, 63 km nordost om den armeniska huvudstaden Jerevan stad och är den största av Kaukasus sjöar.
4. Sevanavank- Klosterkomplexet Sevanavank ligger på halvön Sevan. År 305 grundades den av St. Gregorius the Illuminator, som byggde kyrkan på platsen för ett hedniskt tempel. Klostret var strikt eftersom det främst var avsett för de munkar från Etchmiadzin som hade syndat. Jean-Marie Chopin, en fransk upptäcktsresande i Kaukasus, besökte där 1830 och skrev om en kur som avhåller sig från kött, vin, ungdom eller kvinnor. En annan upptäcktsresande besökte klostret 1850 och skrev om hur manuskript fortfarande kopierades manuellt.

Turen tar dig sedan till norra Armenien, där du kommer att omges av vacker natur. Du kommer att passera genom '' Armeniska Schweiz '' - staden Dilijan. Vi kommer att göra ett stopp vid sjön Parz - Dilijans pärla. Lake Parz är vacker när som helst på året. På sommaren kan du koppla av här från värmen, på grund av de kalla strömmarna och täta träden som omger sjön. Lake Parz är känd för sitt utseende: spegelytan reflekterar helt färgerna i den omgivande skogen; på sommaren och våren - nyanser av grönt, på hösten - rött och guld, och på snöig vinter - en speciell skönhet i blått och vitt.
Nästa stopp är Ijevan Wine Brandy Factory där du kommer att njuta av en guidad tur i vingården och smaka på armeniskt vin och konjak. Ingår: - 2 typer av vin: Sargon rött eller vitt, granatäpplevin (kan vara annat vanligt vin eller fruktvin) - Armenian Brandy 7 år gammal - Osttallrik - Torkad frukt - Choklad - Vatten Ijevan Wine-Brandy Factory är en av de första vingårdarna i Armenien som grundades 1951. Fabriken producerar högkvalitativa konjak, druv- och fruktviner, mousserande viner, vodka, juicer och olika konserver.

5. Tbilisi är Georgiens huvudstad och största stad, som ligger på stranden av floden Kura med en befolkning på cirka 1,2 miljoner människor. Tbilisi grundades på 500-talet e.Kr. av Vakhtang I av Iberien, och har sedan dess tjänat som huvudstad i olika georgiska kungadömen och republiker. Mellan 1801 och 1917, då en del av det ryska imperiet, var Tiflis säte för Kaukasus vicekungadöme, som styrde både de norra och de södra delarna av Kaukasus.

It was a great experience travelling with Jan Armenia Tours. Luiza is very friendly and responsive to my questions regarding the booking prior to the tour. Arthur, our driver, is also very experienced, friendly and patient (for the long driving hours) The tour is well organised - perfect for those who want to move between the cities and visit the sightseeing spots in between. Lake Sevan and Lake Parz are very beautiful and quite different. The Ijevan wine and brandy factory tour is interesting too. Everything is true to the experience descriptions. Additionally, we were late to schedule due to congestion at the border and traffic at Tbilisi due to protest, he was always patient and calm with these situations. Due to the protest and road closure he had to drop us off to the nearest location but he provided all the instructions we needed and was very apologetic even that was not his fault. Luiza also checked in on us upon this issue to make sure we arrived at the hotel.

This is a great way to travel between the two cities! The stops along the way were nicely spaced and our driver was very knowledgeable and answered all our many questions. The wine and brandy factory tour and tasting was a highlight.

Everything was perfect! Davit, the driver, was on time at my hotel in Yerevan, and we went through three stops: Lake Sevan (going to the Sevanavank monastery), then to the Dilijan national park, and finally, after lunch, Davit guided me to a winery in Ijevan. It was my first experience in a winery and I loved it. Then we made our way to Tbilisi. The driver was very professional, kind, and gave me lots of time in each stop so I could truly enjoy the trip. As for the company, excellent communication. I recommend them 5/5 stars.
A friend took several tours, wanted to see the sights of Armenia at most in a short time. We were very lucky that there was a Tbilisi-Yerevan Vacation Package and we did not just spend time travelling from point A to point B, but with great pleasure and warmth Mr. Vachigan visited interesting places along the way. And, of course, it is worth noting that the person helped us even in the small things in a strange country, the most comfortable journey in a friendly atmosphere. Thank you very much. The service is at an altitude of 👍Definitely recommended. We are very happy that Jan Armenia was chosen. We visited the locations that were planned in a day. Our Guide answered a lot of our questions, and talked about traditions and attractions. Delighted with the Ijevan Winery and Cognac, we were given a tour, a tasting. We got acquainted with the production of wine, cognac, vodka. The day was easy and very heartwarming. Thanks to the organizers for such a great Vacation Package🤍

This was a great way to go between Yerevan and Tbilisi with stops in Sevan and Dilijan. David was a great driver and very friendly. The car was spacious with AC. The change in landscape after Sevan from barren slopes to alpine foredts is stark and beautiful. At times we were along the border with Azerbaijan and could see the watch-towers facing each other across the valley with abandoned homes inbetween.

Tour went smoothly and as promised. We visited Dilijan and then Sevan lake, and our driver David helped arrange lunch with delicious fish at a local restaurant. A good and reliable service. Thank you!
