Först ska vi besöka The City of Kind David. Staden där Jesus Kristus föddes. Innehåller en av de mest kända kyrkorna i de heliga länderna, Födelsekyrkan tillsammans med Shepherd's Field Church, The Milk Grotto och Gamla stan i Betlehem. Under vår resa kommer vi att ha möjlighet att få ett guidat besök i alla tre stora kyrkorna. Beit Sahour är en av de två högsta städerna i kristen befolkning, vi kommer att titta närmare på lokalbefolkningens liv och se de fantastiska handgjorda souvenirer som de är ansvariga för att tillverka och sälja runt om i världen. Slutligen kommer vi att besöka en av de mest unika städerna inom historia och geografi i världen, Jericho. Shepherds 'Field Chapel är en religiös byggnad för den katolska kyrkan som ligger i området Beit Sahur sydost om Betlehem på Västbanken i Palestina. Vi ser bara berg från gamla staden Jericho, ingen linbana på denna turné, The Mount of Temptation ligger cirka 3 km nordväst om Jeriko som ligger cirka 58 km öster om Jerusalem, Israel. Berget ligger i Judeens öken och har utsikt över Jordandalen. Efter att ha blivit döpt av Johannes Döparen drog Jesus sig tillbaka till öknen för att meditera och fasta, detta berg där Jesus tros ha tillbringat de 40 dagarna och 40 nätterna av andlig kontemplation.
Berätta för Sultan, även känd som Tel Jericho eller Ancient Jericho, är platsen för antika och bibliska Jericho och idag en UNESCO-nominerad arkeologisk plats på Västbanken, som ligger två kilometer norr om Jerichos centrum
Grottan av Hieronymus ligger faktiskt under St. Katarina-kyrkan och kan också nås därifrån. . S:t Hieronymus, en präst från Dalmatien (345-420 e.Kr.), översatte mycket av Gamla testamentet från hebreiska och grekiska till det latinska "vulgaten".
Deir Hajla eller Deir Hijleh är det arabiska namnet på det grekisk-ortodoxa klostret Saint Gerasimus. Det ligger i Jericho Governorate på Västbanken, väster om Jordanfloden och norr om Döda havet.
I det evangeliet hör vi om Jesus som gick genom Jeriko. Sackeus bodde där, och han var "en främste skatteindrivare och rik". Han "försökte se vem Jesus var" men var kort, så han klättrade upp i "ett platanträd" för att se honom när han gick förbi. Jesus stannar och kallar ner honom och bjuder in sig själv på middag hemma hos Sackeus – till Jerikos folks bestörtning – och tullindrivaren konverterar på plats.
Hishams palats är en viktig tidig islamisk arkeologisk plats för Umayyaddynastin från första hälften av 800-talet, en av de så kallade Umayyadökenborgen. Det ligger vid Khirbat al-Mafjar, 5 km norr om staden Jeriko på Västbanken.

This experience is amazing. Our guide in Bethlehem was really knowledgeable of the sites while making the explanations clear for all audiences, knew his way around the sites and adjusted logistics properly to avoid as much as possible the larger crowds. For the Jericho portion we went with our driver/guide who was beyond friendly and made the trip even more enjoyable, from sharing fresh baklava to even giving us a small gift to thank our visit. For those worried about safety, going with the tour provided a stronger sense of security since the drivers and guides are locals and they take great care of visitors. You not only learn about the most important sites in history but also get to learn their stories.
The tour was great. The guides are very knowledgeable and passionate about Bethlehem and Jericho and also provided information about the complex geopolitical dynamics between Israelis and Palestinians. I felt safe with the tour group as a single woman in the West Bank. Ladies, dress conservatively. Anyone touring in the West Bank should bring his or her passport AND the paper Stay Permit card issued by Border/Passport Control at the Ben Gurion airport. Travelling to and from the West Bank involves check points, and you may be checked for entry back to the Israeli side.
Due to the war, the tour was a tour to Bethlehem only. It was nice having a private tour like to the places listed. The Church of the Nativity, the milk grotto, and etc was such a spiritual and amazing experience that I do not think anyone will ever have. I had the place to myself. It was so beautiful. Thank you to Elias for everything. He was so funny, a comedian, informative, chill, and awesome guide. Helped me a lot on this trip. Thank you. I can only imagine what it would have been like if I was able to go to the other two locations. Highly recommend this tour!!

The tour guide Elias was excellent, we really like him. The tour to Bethlehem was very nice and informative but the second part to Jericho did not enjoy it much.
Bethlehem due to the significance of this town in my religion. The guide, Elias was super knowledgeable, I highly recommend him! He has great humour as well. Photos included are of the Judean Desert after descending from Jerusalem, Church of Nativity in Bethlehem, The Milk Grotto, Sheperd's Cave and our guide. Jericho, though the oldest city in the world, is like an unexplored hidden gem, we observed beautiful archeological findings. Photos of Elisha's Spring Fountain, Hisham's Palace with all the mosiacs. Visiting the baptismal site at Qasr al Yahud was extremely special for me.
The tour guides were factastic, both in the morning and afternoon. They made it fun but also had a lot of really good information to share. They also new how to keep the group organized and stay on schedule so that we weren't waiting around too long for the next activity. Highly recommend the tour.

Our guide was great for the Bethlehem portion. The Jericho portion was good but if I had to decide between the two, the Bethelhem portion was best. Would highly recommend this tour if you want to see both sites. We felt very safe the entire time.
This is a real tour de force of Christian religious and other historic sites in the West Bank, including Bethlehem, the Judean desert, the River Jordan, and several sites around Jericho. It’s a long trip - I left my hotel in Tel Aviv at 05:45 to reach the pickup point on time and got back at 21:00 - which was much longer than I expected. However, if you’re up for an intensive day in a fascinating region - then this is the trip for you. Bethlehem tour guide Elias was a particular star.
