Resan görs i total komfort ombord på en minibuss, alltid tillsammans med en Expert Guide som kommer att dela intressanta fakta och insikter om regionen under dagen. Avgång sker kl 08:00 från mötesplatsen vid Calçada da Vandoma, mot Dourodalen genom landskap markerade av terrasserade vingårdar och den slingrande Dourofloden. Dagens första upplevelse blir ett besök på Quinta de S. Luiz (eller liknande), en historisk vingård kopplad till Douro vinproduktion. Här får du möjlighet att lära dig om gårdens historia, regionens vintillverkningstraditioner och produktionsmetoder. Därefter njuter du av en båttur på floden Douro, där du kan koppla av medan du beundrar den unika naturen från vattnet, omgiven av vingårdar och traditionella vingårdar. På vägen tillbaka stannar du vid utsiktsplatsen São Cristóvão do Douro, där du kan njuta av panoramautsikten över dalen och ta bilder av detta ikoniska landskap.

Maru the tour guide was excellent. Driver Andre kept us safe on the narrow roads. Beautiful scenery on the drive, especially in Douro Valley, and on the boat. It would’ve been great to include one more tasting location and/or lunch, but understandable due to time. As an alternative tour option, I would recommend adding a vinho verde stop to the beginning of the tour.
Amazing experience!! At the beginning I thought it was too touristic activity but it was not at all! I also thought that I would have spent the whole time on a boat but we spent a lot f time in the bus but it was not a problem thank to the kindness and carisma of the guide and driver Joao Campos and Manuel. We were so tired in the morning but the energy of guide helped us to wake up, he was so nice. By the way, amazing landscapes and such a good wine tasting. I totally suggest it!!
Excellent tour, perfect duration, delicious wine and great tour guide and driver. Some extra bits adding in. Duoro valley is stunning.

The best duo ever Maru and Andre they really made the trip something special! Such brilliant energy and really made us feel welcome and entertained. The only thing I will say I would have loved more wine to try and more time to spend drinking the wine. If you are only in Porto for a few days I definitely recommend doing the 6 hour trip. Maru and Andre provide such positive energy and so knowledgeable.
Maru and Andrea were incredible! we had such amazing day with them at the vineyard! everything was so well timed with enough time at every stop and they had considered everything. My only suggestion isn't with them but at the tasting it would massively improve the tasting experience would be to have a small selection of cheeses and chocolate. We had brought some of our own chocolate and it was so much better when eating when drinking the ports in particular. Thank you again Maru and Andre!
