Francy's Pasta & Gnocchi på toppen av Florence Hills

This could not have been better! The setting is a lovely home in the hills. And our hosts/instructors, Louisa and Alessandro, were absolutely the best! They were knowledgeable, patient, and lots of fun. Great food, great setting, great people!

A few coworkers and I (4 people) booked this cooking class during our stay in Florence - little did I know that it was going to be my favorite activity there! Our total group of 12 people was picked up at the meeting point and driven to Francy’s house where we learned how to make ravioli, spaghetti, and gnocchi under Francy and Alessandro’s supervision. They both made a great team and their humor/personalities definitely made this experience more enjoyable and memorable. If you’re looking for a fun escape outside of Florence’s busy streets, I highly recommend this class!

The setting was amazing and Alessandro and Francesca were knowledgeable, fun, and engaging. They made pasta making doable. I cannot wait to show off my new skills with family and friends!

We had a wonderful cooking workshop in a stunning location with an incredible view over Florence. The setting was truly breathtaking and added something special to the whole experience. The atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming, making it easy to enjoy every moment. We were introduced to Italian cuisine in a very culinary and authentic way, while also getting a fun glimpse into the passionate temperament of the Italians. We were a great group, sharing the experience with David, John, and Eric together with their partners and children, which made it even more enjoyable and social. Overall, it was a memorable experience that perfectly combined food, culture, and a beautiful setting.

This cooking class was one of the highlights of our time in Italy. Held in a beautiful home nestled in the hills above Florence, the setting alone was unforgettable. The views were absolutely stunning—rolling Tuscan countryside stretching as far as the eye could see. Our host and co-hosts were warm, welcoming, and incredibly engaging. They made everyone feel at home from the moment we arrived and shared their knowledge, stories, and passion for Italian cooking in a fun and approachable way. The hands-on experience was fantastic, and the food we prepared was truly out of this world. Every dish was fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. Sitting down to enjoy the meal together while taking in the breathtaking views made the experience even more special. If you’re looking for an authentic Tuscan experience that combines amazing food, wonderful people, and spectacular scenery, I cannot recommend this cooking class highly enough. It was an experience we’ll remember long after we’ve returned home.

Francy's Pasta & Gnocchi Cooking Class on the Top of the Florence Hills was an unforgettable experience! The setting alone was breathtaking, with stunning views of Florence that made the class feel truly special. Francy 2.0 was a wonderful host and incredibly knowledgeable. She made the process of making fresh pasta and gnocchi from scratch easy to follow, even for beginners. The hands-on experience was both fun and educational, and I learned techniques that I can use at home. The ingredients were fresh and authentic, and the meal we prepared together was absolutely delicious. Sharing the food while enjoying the beautiful scenery and great company made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this class to anyone wanting an authentic experience. It's the perfect combination of amazing food, local culture, stunning views.

This was a wonderful experience in a beautiful location with amazing hosts. It was fun making the pasta and eating it. It was delicious. It was also nice meeting other travelers and having fun together.

Francy was the best host with a beautiful personality that shone all night long. Alessandro was also fantastic each bouncing off one another the whole evening. This was an experience where you felt you were having a fun evening with old friends. France called my mother in law ‘mumma’ all night long. We had many laughs, lots of wine and lemonchello! The pasta and gnocchi making was a great experience- expertly taught, very hands on with each guest taking time to check each person’s pasta during the making session. The view was sensational as well, looking back over Florence. As a family of 4 adults of a trip to remember someone who lived good food and was a great cook, this was the perfect experience to share with 8 other people. We will forever remember our experience and thank Francy and Alessandro for making our night one we will talk about for years to come.
