Mount Bromo är mycket speciell med den spektakulära soluppgången panorama. Landskapet i Mount Bromo, Mount Batok och Mount Semeru som står sida vid sida vid Bromo Tengger Semeru nationalpark. Mount Ijen ligger ca 200 km längre österut och innebär en nattvandring upp. När du kommer ner i vulkanen kommer du att se de blå lågorna (syns bara innan soluppgången) och se den suraste sjön i världen. Du kommer att träffa gruvarbetarna, de är de starka lokala byborna som arbetar på natten för att samla svavel med hjälp av mycket låg säkerhetsutrustning standard. De riskerar själva att bära 60 - 80 kilo svavel nedför berget två gånger om dagen och inkomsten de får beror på hur många kilo svavel de kan ta ner. Efter soluppgången förvandlas Ijen Crater till en fantastisk vulkan som du alltid kommer att minnas. Den surt turkosa sjön, de verkligt exotiska vulkaniska oländiga klipporna, röken av svavel och de ambitiösa gruvarbetarna, alla dessa kombinationer kan göra dig mer tacksam för ditt liv.

- Mount Bromo och Cemoro Lawang kan vara ganska kyliga innan soluppgången eftersom de är 2.329 meter över havet, höjden vid utsiktsplatsen är hela 2.770 meter. Temperaturen kan sjunka under 7 Celsius (45 F), och det tar inte ens hänsyn till vindkyla. Det kan bli otroligt blåsigt på fjälltopparna, och torrperioden är svalare än regnperioden. Du kommer dock bara att vara kylig innan soluppgången. Efter det värms det upp ganska snabbt, och solen på denna höjd är rikligt stark.

- När du bestämmer dig för att se den blå elden, gå ner 800 meter med branta förhållanden upp till en 45 graders lutning, vägen till botten av kratern kommer att vara stenig och smal.
- Berget Ijen brukar under den våta årstiden öka den vulkaniska aktiviteten nära vulkansprickan. Om denna aktivitet äger rum kommer myndigheterna att stänga av leden som går till Blue Flame men resenärerna har fortfarande möjlighet att njuta av landskapet från Ijens kant av krater, eller om vulkaniska aktiviteter förvandlar gasens giftighet till en nivå av fara, kommer myndigheterna att stänga hela området av säkerhetsskäl. Att besöka Mount Ijen/Blue flamm innebär att du måste vara redo för naturens oförutsägbarhet. Det finns ingen garanti för att du kommer att gå ner i kratern / blå elden på dagen för din resa, naturen är oförutsägbar och om det på grund av massiva svavelmoln är för farligt den dagen för att gå ner, måste du respektera det för din egen säkerhet.

We honestly can’t recommend Bromoijen Tour Transport (Bromobackpackers) highly enough. From the very first pickup to the final drop-off, the whole experience was seamless, and the team made it truly unforgettable. Our driver Sigit was an absolute beast behind the wheel — his driving skills are next level, and we felt completely safe the entire time, even on the chaotic Java roads. On top of that he shared so much knowledge about the area along the way, and looked after us at every single step (even when we left our wallets at the hotel — he had us covered!). A genuine legend. Our Ijen guide Rossy was fantastic — absolutely hilarious, so knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He made the pre-dawn blue-fire trek both magical and fun, and we felt in the safest hands the whole way up and down. Our Bromo guide Harry taught us so much about his culture and the region, and his local knowledge was invaluable. We had a super tight schedule, and the team nailed our timings to a tee — Harry made sure we didn’t miss a single moment despite the tight windows. And a huge thank you to Ary for organising everything so smoothly and being so responsive and warm throughout. The itinerary itself — Tumpak Sewu waterfall, the Ijen blue fire, the Bromo sunrise — was breathtaking, but it was the people that made it. If you’re considering this tour, book with these guys. Ary was very flexible changing the tour to let us go from Bali to Malang, was very well organised and patient given our flight was delayed twice. Ickbal was a lovely friendly driver who took us to a great lunch spot. I would suggest to those going to Bromo to walk across the Sea of Sand rather than drive as we got caught in a two hour traffic jam. If we were going to do this again we also would have organised for a break/rest day between Bromo & Ijen as we were exhausted. We had a lovely time and all the accommodation was really nice Thanks to everyone that made it work

I had an amazing experience with BROMOIJEN tour transport. The Office / Contact: Ary was extremely responsive! Everything was booked and finalized in less than a day. They were incredibly accommodating with my activities and custom itinerary, ensuring that every detail was perfectly handled. The Driver: A huge thanks to Itong! He was much more than a driver; he was a true road companion. He guided me to the best spots and perfectly optimized the organization. As a solo traveler, I deeply appreciated his professionalism, kindness, and care. The Ijen Guide: Suci was absolutely incredible during the Mount Ijen hike. We did the 4D/3N (this includes Sukamade turtle conservation between Ijen and Bali) and also includes the Madakaripura waterfalls on day 1. The quotation/booking process was very easy via email with Ary. Everything was explained (included or not included, what to prepare before the trip, etc) and we had a choice of accommodation type as well. Once the trip started we've been incredibly well looked after right until the end. We were met by our awesome driver Bagus and a representative (Nico) who organised the final payment and gave us a bag with snacks, drinks and other lively things. He also did a recap of what was going to happen in the next 4 days for us. We then went on with Bagus on a very comfortable car with water bottles always available and great conversations! All the activities were well worth the trip, from the impressive waterfalls of Madakaripura, the unbelievable views of Bromo park, the unique Ijen, and the emotional turtle experience. Both guides (Hari for Bromo, making sure we got at the viewpoint and to the crater at the perfect moments for best views and avoiding queues, and Suci for both Ijen and Sukamade, providing unlimited knowledge about the areas, culture, etc) were super friendly and took amazing pictures for us, and Ary also checked on us via WhatsApp during the trip. Unfortunately we couldn't see the famous blue fire on Ijen but the trip up, the views of the lake and the sunrise were still amazing! My favourite part was how incredible Bromo was and my husband's favourite was to witness a turtle laying eggs/releasing baby turtles to the sea in Sukamade. Once at the ferry port, we said goodbye to Bagus who left us with a porter for the ferry trip to Bali, and we then met our new driver on the Bali side for our final destination there. We want to thank Bagus, Suci and Hari especially but everyone involved with our trip as we will never forget it!
The best thing I have ever experienced in Indonesia! Every little detail was picked up on and sorted by the company. Everything was seamless and comfortable. Other than the breathtaking views and spots we saw, the team was the reason for the magical experience. All the tour guides were extremely helpful and supportive. All very knowledgable sharing facts and experiences at the locations. Mr Sigit, our driver, was incredible! He was there during every transition and long drive taking us through the whole journey. The most amazing guy! I will miss everything about this experience. It is honestly one of a kind! I would 10000% always chose to so it with this company! Worth every penny!

Perfect organization, guide in Spanish as we requested, very friendly and attentive at all times, he explained a lot of things and was very funny; we laughed a lot with him. The driver also deserves a perfect score, punctual, the car was very clean and spacious. I recommend this tour to everyone who wants to spend 3 wonderful days among volcanoes and waterfalls.

Ary was very prompt in responding to all our queries before we finalised the trip. We were picked up early morning from Malang in a very clean and comfortable car by Alif. Traveling with him for three days was a very comfortable experience. He accommodated all our requests for stops and breaks. The guides in Tumpak Sewu, Bromo and Ijen were very helpful and friendly. They made the trip very enjoyable and memorable. There was someone to guide us in every step, including the ferry from Java to Bali. While the hotel in Ijen was top notch, the one in Bromo could have been a little better. However, this didn't take away anything from our trip. We had an amazing experience overall and highly recommend taking this tour with Ary and team.

The whole process from booking to actual trip days is done so professionally. Our van was so spacious and new; villa was in the middle of rice terrace so beautiful. Our driver Itong took care of us so well and all lunch restaurants he introduced, omg food so delicious and local authentic to the max. All the local guides were very good and helpful they took and edit Natgeo level videos. Best trip ever!
