Från Salta: Heldagstur till Cachi och Los Cardones nationalpark

Vi lämnar den bördiga Lermadalen bakom oss, stiger upp för Quebrada de Escoipe och fortsätter längs de imponerande Cuesta del Obispo och Valle Encantado, omgivna av berg. Efter att ha besökt La Piedra del Molino (3 400 meter över havet) kommer du att passera genom Los Cardones nationalpark. Den lilla och magiska staden Cachi, som ligger vid foten av det snöklädda berget med samma namn (6 320 meter över havet), kännetecknas av sina fasader i kolonialstil, med herrgårdar som ligger i utkanten av smala kullerstensgator . Vi kommer att besöka Lermadalen, El Carril, El Maray, Calchaquídalen, Quebrada de Escoipe, Cuesta del Obispo, Valle Encantado, La Piedra del Molino (3348 meter över havet), Recta del Tin Tin (11 kilometers väg byggd av Incas), Los Cardones nationalpark (endast höghöjds nationalpark i Argentina), observation av Nevados de Cachi (6 380 meter över havet) och 2 fria timmar i staden Cachi.

Vi lämnar Salta genom Lermadalen mot södra provinsen tills vi når staden El Carril för att svänga västerut och börja bege oss mot Quebrada del Escoipe och de första drömlandskapen. Vi har tekniska stopp längs vägen så att passagerare kan gå på toaletten eller köpa ett mellanmål.

När du lämnar den bördiga dalen Lerma bakom dig, stiger du uppför Quebrada de Escoipe och fortsätter sedan längs den imponerande Cuesta del Obispo och Valle Encantado, omgiven av berg. Efter Piedra del Molino (3 400 m.s.n.m.) korsar du Los Cardones nationalpark.
Besök livsmedelsbutiker och passera genom staden där paprika torkas vid sidan av vägen.
Vi anländer vid middagstid till den koloniala staden Cachi och vi kommer att ha 2 timmar fria att äta lunch och turnera i denna unika stad i norra Argentina. Dess kullerstensgator med sina adobe- och kullerstenshus låter dig bevittna en plats kvar i tiden, som behåller sin ursprungliga essens. Under dessa 2 fria timmar kan du besöka dessa 10 kvarter gånger 10 kvarter som staden erbjuder och prova dess gastronomiska sort som är hemma i regionen. Sedan träffas vi igen med guiden för att påbörja återresan till Salta.
Innan vi anländer till staden Salta gör vi ett tekniskt stopp i Chicoana eller El Carril för att köpa ett mellanmål eller gå på toaletten.

The places are great, but the experience we had regarding the pickup and return is that they left us on the highway, even though there was a road parallel to the hotel, keep in mind that I have two children. On the other hand, the driver was going at a fast speed so you couldn't appreciate the tour with the scenery. Being on vacation I think you want to be more unstructured with the schedules, these were strict and on top of that we returned an hour and a half earlier than stipulated. The state of being on vacation is to relax and not to have more stress. Both issues hindered the full enjoyment of the excursion.
A very nice experience, with many stops, tastings of typical cheeses and cold cuts, and I recommend Fabio as a guide; he is the best!!!!!

They sold a ride to 05/12/25 without a vacancy. I was charged twice and the values were not returned. A lot of difficulty and push game. But they don't solve.
Excellent trip: the stops are memorable and the Bishop’s hill is a very feat road (pity there was mist in the first leg) but this gave us a unique panorama; the cardon park was a sight and I fell in love with Cachi where I will surely return.

Too bad we only made 4 photo stops in these dream settings... far too few! I had to take pictures of the Van. 2 toilet stops one meal stop and one hour in Cachi. Correct guide but unseemly and warm. Eban our driver really drove very well for our safety on roads or roads high and very winding mountain.

Had the good fortune of getting Vanessa as a tour guide and her driver (whose name I forgot, sorry! But he was wonderful!) She was really knowledgeable and personable, it elevated the day. And of course, the scenery was delightful; we also stopped at a roadside stand for a quick bit in case you wanted to buy local spices.

Beautiful trip. Incredible landscape. The impressive cacti (Cardones). The driver and guide (Mr. Antonio) made us spend a humorous day to which the beauty of the landscape was added. Caqui Town: picturesque and with friendly and very good people! I recommend.

I had the opportunity to tour the beautiful city of Cachi with La Quebrada Turismo and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The trip was comfortable, safe and very well organized. The scenery throughout the tour is simply spectacular: the Calchaquíes Valleys, Cuesta del Obispo, Los Cardones National Park... a dream! The guide was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the history, culture and nature of the area. You could see his passion for Salta and that made the whole group even more enjoyable. In Cachi we had time to tour, take pictures and have lunch typical Salta food. I recommend this tour 100% for those who want to know one of the most beautiful villages in northern Argentina, hand in hand with a responsible, punctual company committed to quality tourism.
