Besök vinodlingscentret i provinsen och korsa Las Conchas-ravinen. Erosionen har bildat en rad naturliga underverk som The Devil's Throat, en djup och sluten kanjon. The Anfitheatre (med perfekt naturlig akustik), The Pad, The Friar, The Obelisk, The Castles. Lite i taget ersätts det torra landskapet av stora områden med vingårdar för att nå en av de mest chockerande regionerna i Calchaquíes-dalarna: Cafayate, en stad med envåningshus mellan kolonial- och barockarkitektur från slutet av 1800-talet.

I Cafayate har du chansen att besöka en vingård och smaka på de bästa vinerna i området. Även om regionen alltid hänvisar till Torrontés, har platsen ett stort antal hektar dedikerade till röda druvor som Malbec, Tannat eller Cabernet Sauvignon.
Besök Cafayate stad och en vingård. Vi kommer att ha 2 timmar lediga i staden för att äta lunch och utforska. Stad med envåningshus mellan kolonial- och barockarkitektur från slutet av 1800-talet. (Lunch och dryck ingår INTE i priset)
Vi återvände till Salta genom Quebrada de las Conchas genom Route 68, och gjorde de stopp vi missade på utresan och reste genom detta vackra, unika landskap i Argentina.
Innan vi anländer till staden Salta gör vi ett tekniskt stopp i La Viña eller Talapampa för att köpa ett mellanmål eller gå på toaletten.

En dag före varje aktivitet får passagerarna ett meddelande om upphämtningsschema och destination. Sökningstiden är mellan 07:00 till 07:45 inom ett intervall på 15 kvarter från Plaza 9 de Julio.

The tour guide was excellent, very knowledgable and had perfect English. He took us to some truly breathtaking sports! HOWEVER if you cannot speak Spanish I would advise not booking this trip - the vineyard you’re taken to does not offer English tours, so whilst the guide for the day offered to explain the wine making process generally the wine tasting and vineyard tour portion (which was a significant part of the tour advertised) is sort of not accessible to non-Spanish speakers.

During my stay in Salta, I took a couple tours with Santiago and his driver Juan—and they’re the best of the best. The drive out to Cafayete and the landscapes you stop to see around the way are beautiful. Highly recommend!

It is an expendable excursion since it is many hours and although the beautiful landscape I think you lose a lot of time and there are better things to see. The guide saint and the driver victor a 10.

The tour is 100% worth it. You see so much in one day, our guide Lourdes was very friendly, passionate and she gave us a lot of information about all the places we were visiting, and really friendly too! :)

For the price paid, the tour was worth it. However, we did not make any stops on the way back, despite being on the schedule, probably because it was December 31st and it was a priority to return within a certain time (also for some other tour participants.....).

Interesting ride through the valley seeing rock formations and ending in the wine tasting area at Cafayate. Our guide and driver were both great. It’s a long drive and I recommend some motion sickness medication if you are sensitive to winding roads
