A wonderful experience for the whole family. Angela, Beatrice, Eleanor and the entire crew made the pasta and gelato making in a beautiful setting an incredible memory from our trip to Italy.
If you want to escape the busy city center for a few hours and learn a classic Italian skill, this class is a must! The entire experience was filled with laughs, excellent instruction, and a very generous amount of wine. The instructors managed to be both highly knowledgeable and incredibly fun. They broke down the science of making the perfect pizza dough (the baby) and sauce, and then let us have a blast attempting to throw the dough in the air like professionals. An absolutely fantastic time!
Our family of 15, celebrating my dad's 80th birthday, had an AMAZING time at the farm learning how to make pizza and gelato. The scenery was incredible and the instructors were so hospitable and fun! We had a mix of kids, teens and adults and everyone thought it was the highlight of our trip. Not only did we enjoy making the pizza and the gelato, but it was all so delicious!! Our hearts and tummies were full after our time there and we would highly recommend to all!
Pizza, Gelato & Chianti: The Perfect Taste of Tuscany ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re looking for an authentic Tuscan cooking experience in Florence, this is it. From the moment we arrived, Max, Arla, and Lodovick made everyone feel like old friends rather than tourists. Their combination of warmth, humor, and genuine passion for Italian food turned what could have been a cooking class into one of the highlights of our trip. The focus wasn’t on complicated techniques or fancy equipment—it was on simple, high-quality ingredients and letting those ingredients shine. We learned how to make authentic pizza dough from scratch, stretch it by hand, and top it with fresh ingredients without overthinking it. The lesson was refreshingly practical: great pizza comes from restraint, quality ingredients, a hot oven and LOVE. The gelato class was equally memorable. It was fascinating to learn what makes real Italian gelato different from regular ice cream, and even better to enjoy the results afterward. The instructors kept everyone laughing throughout the experience. Whether they were teasing each other, joking with the class, or sharing stories about Italian food culture, the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. It never felt like a lecture—it felt like spending an afternoon cooking with friends. And then there was the Chianti. Let’s just say the wine flowed generously, making the conversations even livelier and the pizzas somehow taste even better. 🍷 One of the best parts is that you don’t just leave with full stomachs—you leave with the recipes, so you can recreate the experience back home (although recreating the Tuscan countryside and unlimited Chianti might be a bit more challenging). Looking back at our photos, everyone was smiling—from shaping dough to carefully building pizzas to sitting down together to enjoy the meal. That’s exactly what this experience is about: great food, great wine, great people, and unforgettable memories. If you’re visiting Florence and only have time for one cooking class, we’d recommend this one without hesitation. Come hungry, bring your sense of humor, and be prepared to leave with new skills, wonderful memories, and perhaps a newfound appreciation for how magical simple ingredients can be. Highly recommended. Buon appetito! 🍕🍨🍷
This was a wonderful experience for my friends and I. It was our first time in Italy and we were wanting a more authentic cooking class but didn’t want to pay $$$$$. This was the prefect class for us! It wasn’t overcrowded and everyone had the opportunity to make a personal pizza and gelato. The pizza was one of the best I have ever eaten! Everyone, from the cooking instructors to the bus driver, was friendly and fun! My friends and I highly recommend this experience and would do it again given the chance! Plus the view was phenomenal!
This was one of our favorite experiences of our 2 week trip! The only part I didn’t like was that once we walked to the meeting point from our hotel in the extreme heat, we then had to take another 15 minute walk to the bus (although they began the walk by saying it was under 10 minutes). I would have preferred to take a taxi or uber to the bus instead of walking mid day in the heat! Other than that, the experience was amazing!!!
Absolutely the best experience we had on our entire trip to Italy! Ado, Ludovic and Tiziano were masters not only at cooking but at entertaining, especially our children (ages 11 and 13). The food and atmosphere was fabulous, the views were gorgeous - everything about this tour was just perfect! Highly recommend - you won't regret.
This was easily the best tour/experience we booked on our trip to Italy. Our chefs were Tony, Alessia, and Erica. Our guide Kand gelato chef) was Leticia. The staff were all so attentive and so funny. They explained all of the cooking techniques well and everyone in the group was able to make delicious pasta,.pesto, and gelato! The drive was just about 45 minutes in the beautiful countryside.
Nice location, we were welcomed by drinks and snack. Tiziano, Arla and Max were so much fun and I really enjoyed the pizza and gelato class; I got to meet new people and make new friends. The pizza I made was so delicious; I had such a wonderful time!
Absolutely amazing. My family had the best time making pizza and gelato. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Would definitely do again
