De kommer alltså att upptäcka hans erfarenhet i Amerika där han från en enkel butikspojke blir Hollywoods "skomakare av stjärnorna". Därefter kommer de att kunna lära sig om de extraordinära framgångarna som han fått när han återvände till Italien och beundra de skapelser som har gjort Ferragamo till ett ikoniskt modemärke.

The Ferragamo Museum is excellent to view especially if you are a shoe lover! There is so much history about Mr. Ferragamo and his shoe designs. I highly recommend!!
Lovely museum to an iconic brand that was built by a self made man.
Buy tickets directly at the museum. 0 to 10 euro pp. email directly for a free tour. (Free for Seniors) Requested refund a week prior. No refunds (this is a rip off in my opinion ) Picture is not of Ferragamo museum. We loved the museum and our private tour. (Which we arranged on our own)

The story of one of the most incisive Italian fashion personalities in the world. The exhibition is very impressive, rich in artifacts, shoes, stories but above all huge and magnificent black and white photos that illustrate the various moments and the many divas who were protagonists in Ferragamo's life. Yet another testimony of Italian elegance and genius. Not to be missed.
Never in my life would I have expected to go to a Shoe / Footwear Museum. Ferragamo Museum is more than about shoes and the Stars that they were made for. With every idea comes a solution or a opportunity. Salvatore saw his opportunity and followed his dream, creating shoe designs using different materials. The difference is it was early 1900's. Today it is Tech companies, still the same opportunities just a different idea, it's still the start of an idea. I walked through this museum, and I did read about the introduction of different animal skins or fabrics. I was impressed with the detail in the exhibits. You are on holiday do holiday things and be inspired. It is worth the visit
Self guided and not really a museum more of a showcase as to his shoes a little of his inspirations was very limited in its scope. To me was a waste of time and money but can see why a fashionista would enjoy it
The tickets are a scam. I paid 40 prior through trip advisor and when we showed up they told us they were scam tickets. The museum was amazing, however, and the lovely ladies let us through anyways.

Even if you aren’t a fashionista, the Ferragamo Museum is a must! It is a vibrant walk through the mind of Salvatore Ferragamo. His shoes were designed with precision and beauty. He was a true visionary and his shoes are still relevant today!
OK, maybe I'm just not into shoes, but I was not overwhelmed. I enjoyed the photos of Mr. Feragamo with the celebrities over several decades. My three female companions were much more enthralled with the museum. Staff were friendly and helpful. Museum was easy to find, and was right in the middle of the tourist zone. While the streets were a madhouse, the museum was quiet and relaxed. We were given reduced price tickets without asking for them [ age related]. Clean,neat and safe facility.
