Hotell nära Wat Ban Den & Sticky Waterfall

We were looking for a small-group tour of the attractions outside Chiang Mai. This tour checked all the boxes and more for a great value. We had the entire car to ourselves (being the only ones booked that day), and our guide/driver Limmy made the long drive times pleasant, conversing in fluent English about points of interest that we passed and Thai culture in general. Our favorite stop was visiting the elephant sanctuary. It was an amazing experience being right next to the huge creatures. Limmy made plenty of opportunities for us to meet and feed different elephants and shared fascinating tidbits and insights from his extensive knowledge of them. The stop at the temple was a beautiful, quiet respite before the next adventure at the sticky falls. We had so much fun climbing up -- four levels of waterfall meant the fun kept on going! Limmy was considerate and personable throughout the entire tour and we enjoyed each stop at our own pace. Very highly recommend Limmy for an unforgettable tour!

We had such a special day and would thoroughly recommend booking an excursion with Limmy. He picked us up and arranged our day so that we could go up the Sticky Waterfalls whilst it was nice and quiet. Then we headed to Wat Ban Den temple which was breathtaking and absolutely stunning. After the temple we headed to the elephant sanctuary where a delicious lunch was provided which we ate whilst watching the elephants. After lunch we changed clothes and headed up the hill to feed bananas to one of them. Then we met and fed the sanctuary’s other elephants which was just magical. We also met their new addition - a 9 week old baby elephant who was just a joy to watch. Overall a fantastic day out with Limmy and we’re so happy we booked our tour with him.

Our guide Limmy was very knowledgeable and accommodating! He is so nice and personable. We felt comfortable and looked after since my friend and I are not used to large animals and elephants were a bit out of our comfort zone. The temple was beautiful and the sticky waterfall was a fun experience! it was amazing!

We are a young couple travelling in Thailand, during our stay in Chaing Mai we booked a couple of activities with Limmy who end up being our tour guide for the day and who accompanied us to the zipline and elephant sanctuary on the surroundings of the city. We had an amazing experience, where we learnt a lot about the elephants and their way of living, Limmy transmited us his passion and knowledge about these animals that made us understand more about their history and environment. Finding Limmy had made our stay even more special, thank you, you rock it ! :)

This excursion was our favourite of all our experiences in Thailand! Whilst the visit to the temple was worthwhile and we enjoyed the experience of walking up the waterfall, visiting the elephant sanctuary was definitely the star of the show! It was a fantastic experience and privilege to feed and pet these huge, powerful but gentle animals in their natural habitat, completely free to roam around at will. I would definitely recommend this excursion, especially if you are an animal lover!

Excellent day with our guide Limmy, very attentive, always caring and perfectly organized. Thanks to him, we avoided the crowds and took full advantage of every place. We are a couple of Spaniards, who come from Burgos, coincided by chance with Limmy at the exit of the train station, offered to take us to the hotel and at first we did not trust thinking it was a hoax, but good thing we got on board, as on the way to the hotel he convinced us to do the excursion with him. Finally, we did the excursion with him and it has been AMAZING, we recommend it 100%, everything super well planned and organized, and being a small group much better explains everything and you enjoy much more. If you doubt whether to take it or not, taking it without weighing it will be an unforgettable day.

my friend and I had the best day ever on the tour today with limmy! we got lucky with a quiet day so it was just the three of us and limmy coordinated and planned everything perfectly. the temple and sticky waterfall were both amazing, and of course, the elephants were the best part. my friend and I were both so happy to see that the sanctuary was very ethical and that the elephants were free to roam as they liked. the sanctuary was so quiet when we arrived and we had so much one on one time with the elephants which was incredible. you can tell they are very happy and well looked after, and limmy is also incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about them so was such an amazing guide. lunch was also provided and was delicious. the whole experience was so amazing and as two female solo travellers we felt so safe and enjoyed every minute of the day. cannot recommend this tour enough, and the price is great for the experience. thank you limmy!

Lemmie took is to an amazing temoke to start the trip...not one people usually get to travel to...words cannot explain...stunning!!! Sticky waterfalls, amazing, good fun apart from having to wait for people to take pictures all the way up! Lovely lunch at the sanctuary...elephants were gorgeous and well looked after...loved it all. Lemmie was a great rour guide...would highly reccommend

We had the most amazing day with Limmy. We started at the temple before anyone else was there which was so peaceful and great opportunity for photos. Then we went to sticky waterfalls where we had as much time as we wanted to explore. Last we spent a few hours at the elephant sanctuary which was truly amazing. Limmy was so knowledgeable with every stop and in between. His love for the elephants really showed and we learned so much from him!
