Kevin Flanagan was our guide…he was excellent, informative and thoughtful. We loved his passion for history.
One of the best tours I have been on. Fergus was knowledgeable about Irish history, the Book of Kells, Trinity College and the surrounding area. We loved it.
Dermot was a fountain of information on this tour. We felt fortunate to have him as our guide. He went above and beyond in giving us insight into the history of Dublin and The Book of Kells. We highly recommend him.
Alan was a fantastic guide with so much knowledge, which helped our family really appreciate the Book of Kells and other sights around Dublin. When we couldn’t access the Dublin Castle, he discussed what we could from the outside and took us to other interesting places around town. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour!

It was decent and the tour guide Kate was amazing and really cared about history and the subject matter and did a great job. I didn't like that the books were mostly missing from the library and also the castle was closed. The tour said that we would get an exterior tour of the castle but that never happened. We just walked up to a gate and couldn't really see anything. That was a waste and the tour was quite expensive. There was also 3 people in our group of 10 who had dinner plans so she cut the tour short down to less than 2 hours even though those people showed up late and also the tour promised 2.5 or 3 hours depending on what site you book through. I thought that was lame that the 3 people who were late and were not really paying attention the whole time caused us to get our tour cut short.
Dear Mark, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that Kate made such a positive impression and that you appreciated her knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion for Dublin's history. We'll be sure to pass your kind comments on to her. We're sorry to hear that parts of the experience did not meet your expectations. The ongoing restoration of the Long Room at Trinity College means that many of the books have been temporarily removed for conservation work. While this is outside our control, it is an important project that will help preserve this remarkable library for future generations. Regarding Dublin Castle, access to parts of the Castle District has been affected by preparations for Ireland's EU Presidency. While our guides still provide historical commentary and visit the Castle area whenever access allows, restrictions on the day can unfortunately limit the available viewpoints. We are also concerned by your comments regarding the duration of the tour. Our tours should never be shortened because some guests have other plans, and we will be reviewing this with our Operations team and Kate to better understand exactly what happened on the day of your visit. Thank you again for your balanced feedback. We truly appreciate both your compliments and your constructive comments, which help us continue to improve our tours.

We had an incredible tour with Sean! Started our day in Dublin with the tour, and got such a great bearing of the city in addition to the stops on the tour. Sean’s storytelling especially about Irish history really strengthened our Ireland experience! Wonderful memories and strongly recommended.
Sean was unbelievable!!! Perfect guide!
Richard was so great to tour with! He was very knowledgeable and passionate so it made it fun and very informative while we toured the places! Too bad we didn’t get to really see the Dublin castle because important meetings were happening, but I had a good time.
