The Guinness Storehouse is much more than a brewery tour. The interactive exhibits explain the brewing process in an engaging way, and the history of Guinness is fascinating. The highlight is undoubtedly enjoying a perfectly poured pint in the Gravity Bar while taking in panoramic views of Dublin. Even those who aren’t big beer drinkers will appreciate this experience. It is a little difficult to ding them given the subject matter, but just beware that this is a little bit of a dry educational experience that they are doing what they can to make entertaining. The Beer at the end more than makes up for that though.
So much fun. It is a self guided tour. Lots of interesting facts. You learn how to drink Guiness properly in the tasting room and get a pint in the lounge at the end! There is also soda available for those who are under 18 in the lounge.
Meh. I guess if you’re super into how beer is made this is interesting. The one drink limit in the Gravity Bar is annoying. The gift shop is amazing though. Everything Guiness you could ever want.
Glitzy, well organised and slick portrayal of the history of Guinness. The tour involves ascending floors of the storehouse, each which adds to the Guinness story. Whilst the promotional blurb talks about 8 floors, by floor 3 you are onto the marketing aspects (which actually was interesting). The floors above are predominantly exhibition spaces and eateries. The Gravity bar at the top is where you get your Pint of Guinness (or soft-drink) and can look over Dublin. For the pair of us it was €50 and we were there about 100 minutes (which included drinking the Pint). I guess it’s a sort of rights of passage thing (Go to Dublin, See the Guinness Factory). It is enjoyable but quite lightweight in content.
Loved Guinness! It’s fun and entertaining for people of all ages. It’s worth it just to have a pint at the Gravity Bar and get a 360 view of Dublin.
This was a marketing tour; the design was nice, but since it was a DIY walkthrough, it was only as good as you made it. I don't drink, so the displays were nice, but my husband found it lacking. The view from the roof was nice, but it was crowded. I wouldn't recommend it.
No visit to Dublin is complete with a trip to the Guiness factory and the whole tour was very interactive and enjoyable, definetly much to see and do. Enjoyed a Guiness or two in the roof top bar. Our tour Guide really was super informative and the shop at the end is great for stocking up on gifts and reasonably priced.
I loved it,but would have liked to have an actual tour guide,I would have focused and learnt more. But saying that I did really enjoy it. I will definitely be back x
Fantastic experience, I've always hated the taste of Guinness, after being on this experience and tasting the best Guinness I've ever tried I've now found a new drink! I highly recommend everyone to visit here.
Some escalators and some stairs. There is an elevator as well. Lots to see. Well worth a visit. Fantastic view from Guinness rooftop and bar.
