The Guinness tour was everything I hoped for. I moved though, self-guided, and it was nice to see the process of how Guinness is made. There were great digital exhibits on the history of Guinness. Overall, it was very enjoyable, and at the end... an ice-cold pint of Guinness. Would definitely recommend.
Fun and insightful. You’ll leave appreciating the legacy behind the brand. The pint at the top isn’t so bad either.
Find out if they have the headphones for English. Unless you read fast it takes a while to get through it.
Interactive exhibits provide a good explanation about the history, brewing, marketing, and advertisement of Guinness. Great views of Dublin from the Gravity Bar. Enjoyed a nice lunch at one of the on-site restaurants and browsed through an impressive gift shop.
It is actually most interesting to learn how the old coopers worked their barrel. For an active brewery, it seemed more advertising than informative though that might be my bias. I am glad I went but I don’t intend to return. I feel like there could have been more here, especially at the price.
We had a great time at Guinness. We did the tour and also purchased the Stoutie Experience. We topped off the tour by having dinner in the restaurant.
This would have been soooo much better if there was a guide talking to you about the history of Guinness. $45 for a self guided tour is really not worth it. Use google and get the information and take the $45 and go to a local pub to have several pints. Would not recommend or do this again.
This was such a cool experience... way different then my 1st time here. It's a definite must do on your tour list...
Extremely busy - packed in fact, but the crowds move reasonably well. Expensive and overpriced, but a lovely view from the top.
Great experience. We learned all about the brewing of Guinness beer, how it should be poured and how special it is.
