Sedan väntar en härlig lunch i en traditionell restaurang (all inclusive); eftersom vi bara har små grupper är det ett perfekt ögonblick att umgås och smaka äkta Portugisiska produkter. Under lunchen njuter du av olika bordsviner - obegränsat! Ja, du får dricka så mycket du vill:) Vi kommer att besöka 2 vingårdar, inklusive en av regionens finaste, verkligt genuina. Du får också smaka på gourmetdouro olivolja och uppleva alla steg i vinproduktionen, från vingårdarna till pressning, fatlagring och buteljering. Längs vägen kommer vi att köra genom Portugals mest natursköna väg, N222. Service, besök och provningar, med över genomsnittet kvalitet. Vi har erkänts sedan 2015 som "Bästa vinresa" till Dourodalen från Porto. Familjeföretag som har allt organiserat på ett detaljerat sätt för att ge dig en oförglömlig upplevelse. Vi kommer att göra en resa på +/- 1 timme till den bästa delen av Douro dalen. Under resan kommer guiden att prata om Portugal, de områden vi går igenom, samt svara på alla frågor du vill. Längs vägen kommer vi att passera mycket viktiga regioner, såsom: Amarante, det gröna vinets land, Serra do Marão, där vi kommer att korsa en av de största tunnlarna i Europa, Vila Real, en mycket viktig stad i utvecklingen av den norra regionen. Resan kommer att bli fantastisk, där du kommer att känna och lära dig olika historier om vårt land.

Vi äter lunch i en lokal restaurang. Du kommer att smaka på gastronomin i norra Portugal. En unik upplevelse runt bordet! Eftersom vi bara har små grupper blir det en trevlig stund att umgås, utbyta erfarenheter och smaka typiska portugisiska produkter. Allt är inkluderande. Du får möjlighet att prova 2 olika Douro Doc viner, obegränsad mängd:)
Vi går till vingården som är hänsynsfull smycken i Douro Valley. En av de bästa vingårdarna i regionen (hög klass), och en av de viktigaste Portviner. Jag guide kommer att visa hemligheterna med den plats, där de producerar på av de bästa Portviner i världen. Vinprovningen blir oförglömlig. Förutom vinet kommer du också att smaka gourmet olivolja av Douro. Vackert ställe att ta bra bilder.
En 5-stjärnig vinproducent. Du kommer att ha kontakt med alla de olika stegen i vinproduktionen, från vingårdarna till stämplingsplatsen, passerar till faten och avslutar i buteljering. Det mesta av arbetet är handmande. De har mycket exklusiva viner. Vinprovning kommer att serveras på en magisk plats.
Vi kommer att ta Portugals vackraste väg, riksväg 222. Vackra sevärdheter, alltid sida vid sida med Douro floden. Otrolig resa till Peso da Regua. Då kommer du att kunna koppla av, och även sova lite på vägen till Porto. Det blir en dag full av nya upplevelser som du vill upprepa.

We loved our tour guide Afonso. He kept the tour at a perfect pace and this tour is much more private than the other tours you see with the shuttles and buses. I highly recommend paying a little more for this tour.

We enjoyed this memorable day-long adventure in the beautiful Douro Valley. Our tour guide Pedro was a fantastic host who is passionate about Portuguese history and culture, as well as being very funny with a terrific personality. He stopped multiple times so that we could capture photos of the breathtaking vistas of the valley. We enjoyed the small group setting and the opportunity to spend this time with our new friends from California and Georgia. It was also a real treat to enjoy a delicious lunch at an authentic family-owned Portuguese restaurant. The wines we sampled were delicious and the olive oil may have been even better! We highly recommend this tour for an unforgettable visit to the Douro Valley and would not hesitate to book it again.

Your best option for a Douro Valley Tour. The Secrets of Douro Valley Tour with them was all I wanted and more. Pedro was the perfect guy, always looking out for anything we needed. Very knowledgable of the sights and their history. I personally love authentic experiences, that's why I loved the place where he took us to get lunch, beautiful look, food, wine, and it's where locals go to eat too. He even deboned the fish for me. As a solo traveler I'm very grateful, because they let me know when they had more people for me to join, and I got to connect with others who I bet I'll be talking to after the trip. It is worth every euro, you won't regret it. Thank you Pedro, you are the best!

Pedro was a fantastic tour guide and we had a delightful experience! The hotel pick up is such a convenience! Then we headed off to the Valley. We had a lovely stop in a little town for coffee and pastries then took the boat tour. Be prepared for lots of drinking and eating to follow. Gorgeous views all along the way. This was one of our best day trips ever. We felt very lucky to have Afonso as our guide and driver and found him to be extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and kind, patiently answering all of our questions. We enjoyed all of the stops on the trip and felt that the time spent at each was perfect. The scenery was magnificent, we enjoyed all of the estate tours and wine and olive oil tasting and came away with so much more knowledge at the end of the day. Words cannot describe the delicious local lunch with views of the Douro Valley. Sublime. We were the only two people on the tour so thank you to Oporto Sensations for not cancelling.
