Denna familjevänliga vandring inkluderar alla viktiga sevärdheter - inklusive utsidan av Minster och den berömda Shambles - även om vi också kommer att leda dig djupt in i den medeltida labyrinten av "Snickelways" för att följa i fotspåren av romarna och vikingarna som skapade York. Ferah, our guide was very knowledgeable. She shared not only historical and local information, but made it in an easy and enjoyable way to take it all in. The walk was easy and we walked thru places that a non local would never know that's there. Wish that it was longer as there was so much more to learn. Definitely recommend this. Love the smaller group dynamics
Our guide was Ferah and she was fantastic. Total group ended up being just my daughter and I along with Ferah. She was so knowledgeable and informative on the history of York. I peppered her with questions and she had an answer for all of them. She was great and I would recommend to anyone.

If you’re short on time in York then this is the tour for you. Our guide Sara was very knowledgeable and pointed out the key historical highlights during the 90 minutes.
My husband and I were so thrilled with our tour guide, Sarah. In addition to her wonderful personality, she is a true scholar and educator. Since she keeps her tours to a small group, she can gage her audience. As a result she structures everything so beautifully that our attention never waned. She also shared interesting stories of people's lives that we all could relate to, even today. She brought back my love of learning. My husband said that he learned more in this 1.5 hour tour than he did in his Western Civilization course his freshman year of college. The best city tour awaits you with Sarah as your guide!
We had a fantastic walking tour in York with Sarah as our guide. She was incredibly friendly, engaging, and informative, doing a great job of catering to a group with a range of nationalities and different levels of knowledge about British and York's history. The tour covered a span of history, from York's earliest beginnings through to more recent events, with plenty of facts and stories along the way. Even with a good knowledge of history, I still learnt lots of new and interesting things. The small group size made a real difference, it was easy to keep up, hear everything Sarah was saying, and ask questions throughout the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting York who wants an enjoyable and informative introduction to the city's history

Alfred was a great and interesting guide. Perhaps less time at the Wall ruins and more in the city. Overall a great factual tour. Recommended.
