Turnén är helt PRIVAT. Esquipulas är en liten stad på landsbygden som ligger vid foten av San Marcos de Tarrazú (ett av de högsta bergen i Costa Rica). Esquipulas anses vara den bästa platsen för fågelskådning i området Manuel Antonio och Quepos. Bara cirka 20 minuters bilresa från de flesta hotellen i Manuel Antonio. Du kommer att vara 400 meter över havet (stor höjd för en fågelskådningsmorgon). Esquipulas har en blandning av primär och sekundär skog, husträdgårdar och boskapsbetesmarker, vilket gör det hem för ett brett utbud av fåglar inklusive Tanagers, Trogons, Hummingbirds, Flugsnappare, Manakins och Tucans bland många andra. Ungefär 304 fågelarter har rapporterats i Esquipulas.

The ride was informative and full of encounters The guide knew every animal and incest And especially very well equipped We were able to receive the photos and videos of all the observations!
Unbelievable experience! Saw so many bucket list birds. Provided all the equipment, coffee/bakery treats, breakfast… saw every bird I wanted to and more. Fiery billed aracari, blue dacnis, scarlet macaw, manakins, trogons…. What a day! Thank you Edgar!
Edgar was an incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic bird guide. We saw many, many birds, several quite rare. We never imagined how much fun we would have! Also, he is queer-friendly ⭐️.
Never have I seen such a competent and interesting guide. Kenneth is very erudite with unusual eyes for spotting monkeys, sloths, insects, birds, reptiles. Really an activity with this guide to recommend more than highly. Catherine and Eric.

It was an excellent tour. Elias is a good tour guide. Picked us up on time, we saw many creatures in the night at the Damas island mangroves and the river nearby. We were able to see Sloth, owl, Kingfisher, crocodile, bats and snakes. Tour was about 90 mins, followed by fantastic dinner, Casado. Recommend this tour.
The tour was awesome. The guide was great. I booked thru a company called Ecco tours, but then Jade tours kept texting me and I thought it was spam. Also a little deceptive cuz the $95 PP rate sounded like it was all inclusive but we had to pay extra for park passes. I think they were $30 PP. And the cost of transportation. a($285 for 6 of us from Los Suentos) But a great tour. Edgar was great! There is no way to enjoy this park without a guide!!
Our guide Edgar and our driver Rodrigo were terrific. Edgar is a great birder who knew where to find birds and how to identify them. It was a pleasure to spend the day with them. We drove to many different habitats and found a diversity of species. In just a few hours we found more than 55 species, the highlights of which included Baird's Trogan, Pygmy Owl, King Vulture, a Barn Owl with her chick, and a Red-Capped Manakin. Edgar took photos and videos with our phone through his scope, leaving us with some treasured reminders of our trip. The tour was memorable. We highly recommend Edgar, Rodrigo, and Jade Tours.
