Our guide was outstanding. Very interesting and informative. The museum is beautiful and the statue of David was magnificent
Viator SHOULD NOT ALLOW YOU TO BOOK UFFIZI TOUR AS AN “OPTION” WHEN YOU BOOK A DAVID/ACCADEMIA GUIDED TOUR—-ONLY BOOK THEM SEPARATELY. I felt bad for having to leave the tour guide early, because Viator doesn’t coordinate the full Accademia tour + the Uffizi when you pay $200+ to see them both!!!!! They don’t tell you that when you add the “option” for Uffizi that you are going to have to walk 20 minutes from Accademia to get there to meet your NEW guide and make sure you don’t miss the “option” you paid for. You could have booked them separately and planned out the time better so you don’t have to do what we did—-cut the Accedemia tour short and miss all the guided tour details we PAID FOR! They were 30 minutes late in getting our group through, and since the “Uffizi Option” is not coordinated with this tour, we only had 15 MINUTES with the tour guide before we had to turn in our headset to be able to 1.) See David without the guide we paid for and 2.) leave the gallery without time to even see what else we were looking at before we found the exit door to make the Uffizi tour on time. I wish I could get some of my $250 back for what I didn’t get to enjoy and I wish I didn’t have to leave the tour guide so quickly because Viator doesn’t know how to connect two different galleries into one tour.

We'd like to clarify that, as outlined in both the tour disclaimer and on the confirmation voucher, this experience involves a fair amount of walking, and comfortable shoes are recommended. The confirmation voucher also provides the itinerary, timings, meeting point information, and advises that there is approximately 30 minutes of free time between the Accademia and Uffizi tours, which is intended to allow guests sufficient time to make their way to the second meeting point. On the day of your visit, if there were any unforeseen delays entering the Accademia that impacted your experience, we sincerely regret that this affected your enjoyment of the tour. We truly value your feedback, as it helps us identify where we can improve both our tours and the information we provide to guests. We absolutely loved our tour with Paulo! He was so knowledgeable and had some fun insights into parts of the gallery I hadn't been to before. We loved his explanations, his energy and timing to allow us to experience the David as much as we desired. It was a wonderful experience, and highly recommend asking for Paulo!!

The guided tour, talking 👄 about David a lot. They didn't tell us that you can't have any liquid in your bag. I purchased two small wines as a survivor that I throw it away during security check

Worth the time to take a guided tour as you learn a lot of things you probably wouldn't know about the statue David and Michelangelo. It was well organized. The tour operator was pleasant and well spoken. And you really want to skip the line in the heat!
The meeting point was easy to find. Getting into the academia was maybe a 10 minute wait security and we were in. The guide Marcello was great. And there was a gift shop for more could you want?
Angela was our guide. Her knowledge and enthusiasm for the sites she showed us was amazing. We really enjoyed ourselves !
