Vår Kakheti-turné erbjuder en dag i en av de vackraste regionerna i Georgien. De allra bästa vinerna kommer från Kakheti. Här odlas nästan tre fjärdedelar av landets vindruvor. Arkeologiska fynd har antytt att vin har producerats här i flera tusen år. Nästan varje by i Kaketi är välkänd för sin egen sorts vin, som Kindzmarauli, Akhasheni, Teliani, Mukuzani. Viner är uppkallade efter de platser där de produceras. Resan till Kakheti inkluderar flera turistmål, som klostret St. Nino i Bodbe, Sighnaghi – kärlekens stad. På vår väg kommer vi att smaka på georgiskt bröd som heter "Shoti". Shoti bakas traditionellt i en djup cirkulär lerugn som kallas "ton". Under skördesäsongen kommer vi också att besöka en av de största vinfabrikerna i Khakheti, där du kan smaka och köpa vin.

Pirosmanashvili-museet - Om du har hört den sorgliga historien om den världsberömda georgiska målaren, kommer du lätt att gissa att vi talar om Niko Pirosmanashvili, även känd som Pirosmani. Niko Pirosmanashvili State Museum grundades i Pirosmanis hemby Mirzaani 1960 och inkluderar hans familjshus och en utställningshall som visar några av konstnärens ursprungliga verk och personliga tillhörigheter.
Klostret St. Nino i Bodbe - ursprungligen byggdes på 900-talet. Det är en av de största pilgrimsfärdplatserna i Georgien. Klostret håller graven till ST. Nino, den kappadocianska jungfruen som konverterade georgier till Chtistianity redan 337 e. Kr. Det har en hisnande utsikt över Alazani-dalen och snöklädda Kaukasusbergen.
Sighnaghi - City of Love. Det är den vackraste staden i Kaheti. Sighnagi utvecklades ursprungligen på 1700-talet av kung Erekle II. De defensiva murarna och 28 torn byggdes av honom mot Lezgians invasion. Staden har underbar utsikt över Alazani-dalen till Kaukasus utanför. Efter promenad äter vi en traditionell middag med workshop, där du lär dig att laga traditionella måltider. Du kan också smaka traditionella godisar med druvsaft - Churchkhela och Pelamushi.

It was a small group of 5 of us with a delightful English speaking guide Anano and an excellent driver David . The Telavi tour comprised of a pleasant drive through the country side and we stopped at Ujarma monastery, went across to a wine making and tasting place . Lunch was fabulous. We stopped to check out a 900 year old tree, and the masterpiece was the Tsinandali estate the summer home of thr famous Georgian writer and patron of the arts - Chavchavadze, which gave us an insight into the life of a famous aristocrat and intellectual. It was a well preserved summer retreat with had many original items of irniture,.pianos, cutlery, crockery etc intact. Anano kept us curious and her historical narrative transported us to Georgian history, origins of orthodox christianity and Georgian cultire. She was also very open to answering questions of current political scenario and was very professional and balanced all through. I highly recommend the tour company and guide.

My friend and I took a Kakheti wine tasting tour. The tour was great, and we had so much fun. Special thanks to our tour guide, Nino—she was wonderful! Luka explained the wine differences and the winemaking process in a very fun and welcoming way. The food was delicious and the ladies at the restaurant were very sweet!

We as a family of 4 had a great tour exploring the Kakheti region! Our Guide Nick was extremely knowledgeable of the area and Georgian Culture & history and gave us ample time to explore each destination. Our driver Vazo also was very good and safe driving. We really enjoyed each spot and the winery Vineria Kakheti was gorgeous and gave us a detailed wine tasting and lunch. Would definitely recommend this trip to friends & family! 🥂😊
