Vi startar turen från Chiang Mai, färdas på väg i ca 90 minuter.
Börja vid Mae Kachan Hot Springs, en perfekt plats att koppla av i varmt mineralvatten innan du beger dig djupare in i Chiang Rai. Det är ett bra stopp för att uppdatera innan dagens främsta attraktioner.

Här får du bevittna den unika traditionen att kvinnor bär mässingsringar för att förlänga sina halsar, en kulturell sed som förts vidare genom generationer. Ditt nästa stopp är Vita templet, en extraordinär skapelse av konstnären Chalermchai Kositpipat. Dess slående helvita design symboliserar renhet, medan det intrikata glaset återspeglar Buddhas visdom. Inuti blandar surrealistiska väggmålningar buddhistiska symboler med moderna bilder, vilket gör det till en unik fusion av andlighet och samtidskonst. En annan kort bussresa tar oss till nästa destination.
Därefter väntar det fantastiska Blå templet, känt för sina levande blå interiörer och gyllene accenter. Dess mystiska atmosfär förstärks av intrikata mönster och fridfulla Buddhastatyer. Templets moderna men ändå traditionella stil skapar en fängslande och färgstark upplevelse, med drakskulpturer som vaktar ingången och en fridfull Buddha inuti.
Ännu en kort bussresa till nästa hållplats.
Vår resa fortsätter till Hauyplakang Temple, en fridfull andlig fristad känd för sin imponerande pagod i nio nivåer. När du stiger upp för varje nivå kommer du att stöta på buddhistiska statyer och vackra sniderier. Templet är också känt för statyn av Guan Yin, barmhärtighetens gudinna, som symboliserar medkänsla. Panoramautsikten från pagoden är hisnande, vilket gör det till en höjdpunkt på resan.

Dee, our tour guide, was beyond amazing!! She went out of her way to inform and encourage everyone, maximising the time we spent at the temples. Anyone that is lucky enough to have her on board the trip will have a great time! The temples were absolutely stunning, could not fault a single part of the trip (aside from maybe the lengthy journey - can’t be controlled) ☺️

We had a great time! Ann was our tour guide and she was amazing! The bus was comfortable and cold! The temples were amazing and breathtaking even though it rained on us we still had a great time! This is a must do excursion when you come to Chiang Mai!

This is a day long trip that includes many varied stops. Hot springs plus long necked ladies and 3 temples. The bus was very comfortable. Our guide Dee was excellent. She was very attentive and provided a lot of historical background.

A great tour! We were nervous it would feel rushed, but it was well paced and we didn’t feel like we needed extra time at any of the spots. Our guide Nat was incredibly informative and shared with us so much about Chiang Rai and Thailand as a whole. She taught us common phrases, how to count, and even what our names are in Thai! Nat definitely went above and beyond. She is the best tour guide I’ve experienced thus far. The tour is a large group (40 people) but it didn’t feel crowded once we were at the spots. Super organized and a great day trip!

Our tour guide Dee was fantastic. Gave lots of good information and guidance. Helpful with pictures and other sightseeing suggestions. In true Thai fashion she offered snacks, herbal remedies, and generally cared for us! True kalyanamitta!
