08 : 00 AM – Upphämtning Följ med på en rundtur från mötesplatsen : Sun Leisure World Office, beläget på Duang Tawan Hotel, Chiang Mai, Lobbyvåningen. Häng med på rundtur med upphämtning på hotell : Finns för platser i Gamla stan eller en radie på 2 km från Sun Leisure World Chiang Mai.
Det är ett enormt tempelkomplex med en visuell glädje varje gång du vänder dig. Det är populärt med turnébussarna, men vänta tills turnén fortsätter och njut av den. Ge dig själv massor av tid så blir du inte besviken.
Detta tempel är den forntida föregångaren (nere på berget) än Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Även om det är lite mindre grand än det är yngre syskon, är det brant med historia, vördnad och fred. Den har en vacker utsikt över staden Chang Mai och är byggd på en bäck med ett antal vattenfall. En fantastisk plats för meditation eller enkel reflektion. Gå!!
Wat Chedi Luang, detta tempel är platsen för en enorm pagod, ursprungligen 280 fot hög, och förstördes delvis av en jordbävning 1545. Vid en tid inrymde Wat Chedi Luang den vördade Emerald Buddha-bilden som nu är förankrad i Bangkoks Wat Phra Kaew. En av Wat Chedi Luangs mest slående arkitektoniska drag är en magnifik Naga-trappa som pryder kapellens veranda.

Knowledgeable guide with understandable English. It was very interesting to see the different types of temples - very elaborate and the other simple in nature. The mountain road is very twisted so if you get motion sickness be sure to take Dramamine before you go.
This tour of 3 temples was an excellent time thanks to Ooh's guidance, very interesting, attentive, and very pleasant during this beautiful afternoon. An essential tour.

The tour operator contacted me via whatsapp a day before we were supposed to do the tour saying they didn't have sufficient numbers to go ahead and that they would give me a full refund. I replied saying that was fine, however after numerous requests for the refund on whatsapp I have received no further correspondence. I have sent 3 messages requesting the refund so far and have received no explanation for the delay, no acknowledgement of receiving my messages (2 blue ticks on whatsapp). I was notified 3 days ago about the tour being cancelled. What is going on I wonder? These experiences make me question the anonymity of platforms like viator and whether they lead to better services and experiences.

Very educational and fun and great for everyone. They were super helpful in showing us the history and the temples in a way that everyone could enjoy. There was some independent time for exploring as well.

They canceled on me last minute and still haven’t returned my money . Very little communication until they said no last minute

The tour was well organised, interesting and very informative. Our guide, Jane arrived early for the meeting point and so got off to a good start. She was very knowledgable and was able to explain all the pertinent points for each wat visited. She kept the group on schedule and offered to take any photos of members of the group as required. The drive to Doi Suthep was comfortable and Jane gave us all the relevant facts of a boy undergoing the initiation ceremony of joining the monks. Doi Suthep is in a beautiful setting amongst the forest and river. Jane even arranged for us to receive a personal greeting from a monk. The trip was well worth-it and thank you to Jane for being a great guide.

This tour takes you out of the center of Chiang Mai to visit others temples. Our favorite was one on the top of the mountain. Gong, our guide, was kind and great. At the end she help us with a reservation in one of the most popular restaurants in town.
