Besök den sydligaste spetsen av den afrikanska kontinenten och titta ut i vattnet, där Indiska oceanen och Atlanten möts. med ett stopp för att se de afrikanska pingvinerna vid Betty's Bay.

Cape Agulhas-turen är ett bra sätt att skapa en minnesvärd dag under din Kapstadsresa. Upphämtning sker på ditt boende/hotell i Kapstaden kl. 06.30 eller 07.00 (beroende på dina önskemål om stopp på rutten. Du kommer att resa till Cape Agulhus längs N2. Njut av landskapet längs vägen.
Vi fortsätter vår resa med ett valfritt stopp vid Peregrine Farm Stall i Grabouw som ligger i den vackra och bördiga Elgin-dalen. Peregrine erbjuder lokal, färsk mat som också är nyodlad och det är ett rekommenderat stopp för kaffe.
Caledon är en stad i Overberg-regionen i Western Cape, Sydafrika. Caledon ligger cirka 100 kilometer (62 mi) öster om Kapstaden och ligger intill mineralrika varma källor. Staden har sitt ursprung till de varma vattenkällorna på sluttningarna av Klein Swartberg. De varma mineralbaden utgör idag en del av Caledon Casino Hotel & Spa, en elegant anläggning, känd över hela världen för sin varma gästfrihet, välutrustade konferenscenter, en mängd olika sportfaciliteter och skönhetssalong.
Napier är en by full av karaktär och charm bara två timmar utanför Kapstaden. Som grundades 1838 genom en tvist mellan två grannar, Michiel van Breda och Pieter Voltelyn van der By. Byn är nu en blandning av sekelgamla stugor och moderna hus, omgiven av böljande jordbruksmarker. Tidigare var byn känd för sina smeder och firas nu av den årliga häst- och vagnfestivalen.
Bredasdorp är uppkallad efter Kapstadens förste borgmästare, Michiel van Breda, som också anses vara fadern till merinofårsindustrin i landet. Idag är Bredasdorp det ekonomiska navet i Cape Agulhas-regionen för lokalt jordbruk.

Vid ankomst kan du njuta av en promenad längs vägen, som tar dig till den officiella mötesplatsen för de två haven. Här kan du ta ett foto med ena foten i Indiska oceanen och den andra foten i Atlanten. Detta är också Afrikas sydligaste spets. Utforska en av de äldsta fyrarna i Sydafrika, här vid Cape Agulhas.
Hermanus är känt för sina valar. Man kan se Southern Right Whales under vintern och mitten av våren från de slingrande klippvägarna, med båt för mer äventyrliga. Hermanus är värd för en årlig valfestival i slutet av september för att fira valarnas återkomst till bukten under parningssäsongen. Lunch kan också avnjutas på en av de många restaurangerna vid havet i Hermanus. (Vänligen meddela om vi kan hjälpa till med en restaurangbokning.) På väg tillbaka till Kapstaden kommer vi att stanna vid Stony Point Penguins Colony för ett besök hos dessa förtrollande havsdjur. Stony Point är en av de största pingvinkolonierna i Sydafrika.
Efter ditt sista stopp vid Stony Point kommer vi tillbaka till Kapstaden för din avlämning på ditt hotell/boende i Kapstaden.

We booked the tour to Cape Agulhas through Viator and are completely satisfied. Our tour guide Alex was just sensational!! Punctually at 07:00 we were picked up at the hotel. Alex gave us an insane amount of interesting information about country and people on the drive. The first highlight was the penguins at Stoney Point. We were just steps away from the animals. Then we continued to Cape Agulhas. A real experience! Among other things also through Alex this day has been a real highlight in our holiday. Highly recommend!

Fantastic day exploring Cape point & more! Clement was hugely knowledgeable about the area, had lots to share and really tailored the day to our wants. He planned out our day in the morning and pivoted where needed allowing for lunch reservation time and time to complete other activities. This was awesome. We were collected by Clement at 7am on the dot. We drove from Cape Town learning all about life here across all of society. We stopped for coffee, morning tea and a comfort stop before heading straight to Cape Agulhas. Clement was a valuable asset in his role of guide making sure that we made the most of the opportunity by allowing time to walk along the board walk before climbing the lighthouse. He also identified a place where we could by some magnets. We headed to Hermanus where we had lunch on the headland with incredible vistas. We had a chance to walk down the coast where Clement met us with the car. Driving back towards Cape Town, we stopped to see penguins at Stoney Point and arrived back at our accommodation about 5:30pm. The trip was exceptional and Clement's company made it even better. It was nice to have genuine conversation with a Cape Town local rather than the banter usually exchanged. Don't miss this experience.
