Bortom Fortet och norra Oman från Muscat
Beskrivning
Efter att ha hämtat dig från hotellet börjar turen från Shatti Al-Qurum (bredvid Intercontinental Hotel). Nakhl är en typisk Omani-by. Det ligger vid foten av bergen nära en riklig vattenkälla, som irrigerar omfattande palmplantager. Nakhl-turnén börjar med att köra mot Nakhl Fort. När du närmar dig Nakhl, håll utkik efter fästningen som ligger på en kulle utanför staden. Fortens ursprung är pre-islamiskt med stora bidrag från Al Ya'ruba och Al Bu Sayed-dynastierna. Vi kommer att besöka fortet utanför (Fortet är stängt för renovering) och det mineralbelastade varma källvattnet i Nakhl (Al Thowarah Varm källa). Sedan stannar vi i Seeb souq vid havet för en fotostopp. Turen slutar i Avenue Mall och sedan överför vi dig tillbaka till ditt hotell.

Nakhal Fort är ett av de mest kända forten i Oman. Bygget på toppen av en stor sten har fortet genomgått många förbättringar genom århundradena och välkomnar idag besökare som vill njuta av panoramautsikt över byn Nakhal och den historiska artefaktkollektionen som finns i museet.

Great tour with an informative audio guide, pickup was on time. There were no other tourists in the fort and it was nice and quiet, it’s a very well preserved and impressive structure with beautiful mountains in the background. I highly recommend this tour!

I booked two back to back trips with this company. After booking 2 days later got an email from them saying the 'port' was closed and asked me if I wanted to still take it or cancel. After a couple of email exchanges and still not clear what options I had, on the my first tour I asked the driver to help me and clarify. He connected me to the office and we agreed to cancel the tour as it was not the 'port' but the 'fort' which was the main attraction that was closed, the lady on the phone confirmed and agreed to refund. Long and behold the driver then arrives at the hotel for pick up. I told him it was cancelled and he went away. No surprise that my refund was never processed and all emails were ignored.
