Liverpool som stad har så mycket att erbjuda och att vara hem för världens bästa band är naturligtvis något vi inte tar lätt på. På den här turnén kommer vi att insupa allt som ledde "The Beatles" till världsomspännande superstjärnor och ta reda på mer om berättelserna som gjorde dem till de de är. Vi kommer att ta in och utforska allt som är "Beatles" - från Penny Lane till Strawberry Field och mycket, mycket mer!

Vi börjar vid den ikoniska statyn av Fab fyra - John, Paul, George och Ringo. Detta är ett vackert läge vid Liverpools pir, precis vid floden Mersey. Omgiven av de historiska "3 Graces"-byggnaderna finns det mycket att se och lära sig om i detta område och några fantastiska fotomöjligheter.
Konstskolan som John Lennon gick på som ligger granne med gymnasiet som Paul McCartney och George Harrison gick på. Här diskuterar vi bandets tidiga dagar och ser tillbaka till deras tid som "Quarry Men" och även spelade i Hamburg Tyskland. Ett vackert område i stadens centrum omgivet av Liverpools två katedraler.
Ett fotografi vid den äldsta kvarvarande vägskylten "Penny Lane" som Paul McCartney nyligen signerade. Vi diskuterar bland annat varför Paul skrev låten och vad den betydde för honom. Sedan ska vi köra nerför Penny Lane medan vi såklart lyssnar på låten och tar in de omgivningar som Paul listar i låten.
Johns vackra sång handlade om en plats han brukade besöka och som tur är finns den platsen kvar än i dag. Nu ett modernt besökscenter, souvenirbutik och museum tillägnat John (som fortfarande drivs av Frälsningsarmén). Vi tar en promenad runt de vackra trädgårdarna som John brukade besöka och besöker även de berömda röda portarna - tar in i omgivningarna och diskuterar allt som har med John att göra.
Ett unikt läge som har två specialområden precis bredvid varandra. Platsen där John och Paul träffades första gången som tonåringar och även graven för "Eleanor Rigby".
Som ung flyttade John till sin moster Mimi i ett vackert hus där hon uppfostrade honom. Nu ägs och bevaras av National Trust.
Hem till familjen McCartney under Pauls tonår och även födelseplatsen för många av deras tidiga hits. Paul och John tillbringade otaliga timmar här hemma med att skriva och repetera.
Ringo var definitivt från en ödmjuk början och växte upp på en plats som han håller väldigt nära sitt hjärta. Vi kollar in hans lilla barndomshem och även den fantastiska målningen av honom precis bredvid.
Vi tar en titt på den mest kända klubben i världen "The Cavern" från utsidan - belägen på Mathew Street. The Beatles spelade här 292 gånger och det var deras hem och platsen där de fick många av sina tidiga anhängare.
Besök det första hem George bodde i som ung pojke när han växte upp i arbetarklassen Liverpool och utforska hans ödmjuka början.

It was amazing. Jack was so knowledgeable. We went everywhere we wanted and told his bits you wouldn’t get from a big tour.

My husband Dean and I had a fantastic private Beatles tour with Marc. We started at the Beatles statue and then visited Penny Lane and Strawberry Field, along with several other iconic locations connected to the band's history. What made the tour so special was Marc's incredible knowledge and storytelling. He shared fascinating facts, background, and personal details that brought the songs to life in a completely new way. His insights have actually changed the way I listen to Beatles music. I now catch references and meanings that I never understood before. One of my favorite moments was learning the story behind the lyric, "nothing to get hung about" from Strawberry Fields Forever. Now I can't help but giggle every time I hear it. Our tour guide was exceptional. He knew all sorts of Beatles history. As our tour progressed he played Beatles music significant to where we were located. I.E. played Penny Lane on Penny Lane road. At the end of the tour he dropped us off at a pub where we enjoyed Fish and Chips, and then walked back to our ship, after he gave us specific directions first. He told us we were lucky doing the tour early for the traffic wasn’t bad. Well done.

We only had one day in Liverpool since we took the train up from London. This tour is an absolute must for not only Beatles fans, but also anyone interested in history. Our guide, Mark, rightly told us that you cannot understand the Beatles and their music without understanding Liverpool and our city tour was so insightful. Lots of cool surprises, We then took in all of the Beatles sights and were in no way disappointed. Mark was so knowledgeable and full of personality. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone whether you are staying in Liverpool or just up for a day trip.
