I denna turné får du exklusiv tillgång till en av Qatars mest exklusiva idrottsplatser på Al-Sahaniya Camel racingbana, känd som "shejkernas sporter" och se var kameler tränas mellan turneringarna. I slutet av västkusten finns en plats som heter Zekreet, erkänd av UNESCO en av världens biosfärreservat. Beläget bara 80 km från centrala Doha. Zekreet är hem för stora branter och kalkstensformationer som formats av starka vindar och erosion under decennier. När du väl kommit dit kommer du att se några av de mest unika ökenlandskapets pittoreska platser. Du kan se paraplystensformationen där Arabiska havet möter kalkstensformationer. Inbäddat mellan kalkstensklippor utanför Zekreet strax norr om Doha, ligger Richard Serras öst-västliga/väst-östliga skulpturinstallation. Bestående av fyra stålplåtar, var och en över 14m i höjd, sträcker sig installationen över 1 km, och är alltid ett vittne om solnedgång och soluppgång.

Sam was a great guide, he shared enlightening comments about the city and the tour, the west coast is impressive and we even had a bit of an off road experience. Visit to the camel racetrack was lots of fun, so many camels gathered for their training at the racetrack and also crossing the main road, loved the ride.
We really enjoyed seeing the camel training facility. Be aware that you will not see racing but the training is very unique and interesting. Our guide was very informative, Sajid. We went to the desert and saw very interesting sculptures.
Very interesting and different tour. Excellent experience in the desert. Our guide, Sajid Khan, was very nice, informative and we always felt in good hands. We learned so much about the camel racing/training and the desert formations. Highly recommend.
Great itinerary and professionally organized tour. Our driver and guide Yam was very kind and attentive to every detail and was prepared both on the places we visited and on other general aspects of life in Qatar. The experience in the camel circuit (which are actually dromedaries) of Al Shahaniya in my opinion is a must if you visit this country; when we went there were no races, but seeing the camels training makes the idea equally clear. The second part of the tour was equally interesting, The desert of the west is rocky and therefore very different from the sandy desert of the south. You arrive at the fort of Zekreet and see the installations of Richard Serra
Must go. Different experience. Check the timing of the race before going there. Better to hire a car for half day. Leave early in the morning for race. By 12 noon everything is basically finished.
…. We had a great time , in amazing places and sightseeing , with the best Driver and Guide , Saleh!!! It was not our first excursion with him !!!
Saleh is the best driver ever see!! thanks for all!!! It's already the second excursion we do with it. The first one we went to the desert, to the sea and to ride a camel, it was incredible!!!!
