All upphämtning och avlämning till Belfast Political mural taxitur kommer att ske på Leonardo hotel, tidigare (Jury's Inn hotel) på Great Victoria Street Belfasts centrum. We went as a family with grandchild to grandparents, ranging from 17 to 75 years of age. Tony is an excellent guide. Knowledgeable, as you would expect your guide to be, but also considerate, fun, and easygoing. We appreciated that he was a careful driver and that he took the time needed for everyone to get in and out of the van. He also did a very good job at speaking clearly and making himself understood by his ESL passengers. We already knew quite a bit about The Troubles beforehand, but we were pleasantly surprised at how much new information we learned, and also rather stunned at realising how much everyday life in Belfast is affected of its history to this day. Highly, highly recommended tour!
This was an exceptional and emotional experience thanks largely to our guide Tony. His encyclopaedic knowledge of the Northern Irish Troubles and the continuing tension, built on a foundation of personal experience, gave us a deep insight into Belfast today as well as the history. Tony is a superb ambassador for Belfast and this is a must-do experience on a visit to the city.
This is a must see to unravel the many layers of the Troubles around civil rights, civic identity and religion. Jackie was an outstanding guide as he can personalize the story as well as give the historical context dating back hundreds of years culminating with today. This tour shows how the walls and gates tell many stories. It is the hope of all that full integration, representation, and peace reign.
This tour was amazing and well worth the time! I would actually do it again and ask for Tony! This experience needs to happen!
We had very little knowledge of the troubles in Norther Ireland before the tour. Our guide Tony was absolutely great and provided so much historical insight into the troubles and described moving personal experience of the troubles. We would advise anyone to take an hour of their time in Belfast to take this tour. Absolutely brilliant!
A great historical and current events tour with a professor of Belfast culture as our guide. My mixed Orange and Green family remember it well from the safe haven of California. I am emotionally touched by the balanced presentation Jimmy gave us this Sunday morning. Keep hope alive. Dr. JP

Even if, or perhaps, particularly if, you think know a lot about the conflict in the North, you'll know so much more after this tour. Eye opening, moving, shocking in places, our tour was thoroughly informative and our guide, Tony, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and growing up in 70s and 80s Belfast he had some tales to share that add a further perspective on Belfast's complex narrative.

We really enjoyed this political mural taxi tour and found it to be very interesting. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the history and significance of the murals in a way that was easy to understand. He also had a great sense of humour, which kept the tour engaging throughout. We came away feeling like we’d learned a lot about Belfast’s history and the Troubles, and it gave us a much better understanding of the city. The only downside was the price. While we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, we did feel it was quite expensive for the length of the tour. Overall, we’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Belfast who wants to learn more about the city’s history from a knowledgeable local guide. We booked this through trip advisor.
