Vi rekommenderar att anlända 10 minuter för tidigt för att starta smidigt, eftersom turen börjar precis i tid och återbetalning inte kan utfärdas för sena ankomster.
De gotiska kvarteren är hjärtat i det katalanska köket och ett måste för alla matälskare. Börja din kulinariska resa på ett familjeägt tapasställe och smaka Spanska favoriter som kroketter, patatas bravas och pimientos de Padrón, var och en perfekt tillsammans med ett glas lokalt vin.
Familjeägt sedan 1945, har denna bodega gjort saker på rätt sätt i generationer. Med bara fyra tapas på menyn hyllar den Spanska matlagningens enkla, själfulla väsen. Bara några steg från hamnen äter vi som seglare från förr – delar strutar med krispiga boquerones, smakar traditionell katalansk butifarrakorv och smuttar på en porrfilm vid sidan av ett glas Spanska vermouth. *På grund av säsongssemestrar, helgtillgänglighet och väderförhållanden kan vi eventuellt inte åka till denna plats, men vi kompenserar genom att beställa extra mat vid en annan hållplats eller ersätta denna plats med en annan plats.*
Vi vandrar genom stadens äldsta kvarter och ser gamla romerska murar och torn på väg till nästa matstopp.
Därefter beger vi oss till bohemiska El Born där vi vandrar längs smala gränder för att fönstershoppa på hantverksbutiker och konstgallerier.
Upptäck historien bakom tapas i den livliga miljön i en klassisk pintxosbar, inspirerad av Baskien och upplev sedan traditionen själv när du väljer din egen.
Innan vi lämnar El Born stannar vi och förundras över en av de vackraste basilikorna i staden.

Our tipsy tour guide was Lindsay and she was great! She took us to El Born and the Gothic quarter; stopped at 4 different places and had 3 drinks. I recommend doing this in the beginning of your trip in Barcelona.

Unfortunately though this event was highly recommended by other friends who did do it the previous year, we did not enjoy it to its full capability. First of all, our tour guide was late arriving, secondly, the group was fairly large (about 12-16) unless one was immediately close to the guide, it was impossible to hear what she was telling us. The absolute main reason for our disappointment was the food offered, which proved inadequate for the number in our group. The paella as the last dish was well over cooked and dry . For the second stop, there were insufficient number of plates and food to go round and waiting for more was necessary and rather unpleasant. Considering the per person cost this was in our opinion most unsavoury.

We loved this tour! Sky was our guide and was amazing. We did the 1:00 tour and had a group of 14. Sky had us all departing on time and onto our first location. She kept us entertained and under control. We went to 4 different restaurants and had so much food! Ended the tour with seafood paella. It was the perfect tour for my birthday and Sky went out of her way to make sure we had birthday apple pie! Would recommend this tour to all foodies!!
