Beroende på väder och tid på året kan vi helt enkelt köra genom Kalk Bay utan att stoppa, eller ibland stanna på ett kafé för en morgonkaffe eller ta en takeaway Fish & Chips till lunch vid hamnen.
Vi kör genom Simon's Town för att besöka Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, men vissa dagar kan vi besöka Jubileum Square och Just Nuisance-statyn på dagar när vi äter lunch på en restaurang i Simon's Town.
Vi besöker de viktigaste Boulders Beach Penguin Colony visning däck inom National Park National Park som några tusen afrikanska pingvin kalla hem. En promenad längs Willis promenad till den främsta badstranden är något du ska göra och på sommaren är det här en underbar svimma!
Vi kör in i Cape of Good Hope-delen av National Park National Park på väg till Cape Point där fyrarna ligger. Vi går upp till utsiktsplatserna och sedan eventuellt nedför fyrhållarens spår för att få en annan vinkel om du går en promenad. Om vi inte går till fyrarna kan vi gå ut över Diaz Beach och sedan låter vi dig fortsätta mot Cape of Good Hope (45min) samtidigt som vi kör runt för att hämta dig i slutet.
Även om vi kommer att röra på Cape of Good Hope "rätt" medan vi är i Cape Point-området kör vi till några olika platser inom Cape of Good Hope-delen av Nationalparken Table Mountain. Vi kommer att se upp för större djurliv här som Bontebok, Eland, Chacma Baboons och Ostriches bland andra.
Denna väg är en klassiker! Vi brukar kryssa över Chapman's Peak Drive på vägen tillbaka till Kapstaden efter en dag på Cape Peninsula där utsikten över Noordhoek Beach och Hout Bay är fantastisk!

Mark has a wealth of knowledge and is a world-renowned conservationist; if I had more time, I would have done as many tours with him as possible! I cannot recommend this tour enough.
Very good experience. Got to see the penguins, which was nice. A lot of time on the Cape guide was very knowledgeable about plants and animals in the area which added a nice dimension.
Mark’s knowledge of the region’s flora and fauna is quite remarkable and delivered with friendly enthusiasm. We had a really enjoyable day
I loved to walk with Mark, one of the owners of this special family business. We hiked the Lion’s Head early in the morning and he knows everything about hike and nature. We walked all around the mountain and saw all the views of Cape Town, during the hike. It’s was so amazing and lovely. Everybody has to hike this mountain. Mark took us to see the penguins and then for a walk along the shipwreck trail. The penguins are a must. The beach walk is beautiful and was totally deserted other than lots of interesting birds. Mark is a top class guide having worked in conservation and national parks for many years. He is also excellent company. Thoroughly recommended.
The experience was sensational! Justin knows a lot about the place, animals and nature. Super friendly. We walked through several places, different from most tours. I highly recommend it.
I found Mark online, read reviews and reached out to him. This family run business helped me put together the itinerary of peninsula tour and Lion's Head hike. Mark has years of experience in this field, and made our peninsula tour very successful. we were very impressed. Mark's wife Lindsay is kind and prompt in responding any communications. We also had their son Justin guiding us to Lion's Head Hike. Justin has a passion to nature and he explained things to us like 'detail oriented'. They are reasonably priced and flexible in payment options. We were really impressed by their passion to nature and knowledge of the local area. Kudos to Mark and family. Mark is a great tour guide! It's so wonderful to have a private guide who's flexible and who notes what your passions are so they can customize your day. That's exactly how it was with Mark! We were on track to do all the standard Cape Peninsula activities until he recognized our sense of adventure and desire to avoid crowds. He then steered us to much more personally interesting hikes and activities. Thanks, Mark, for a great day on the Peninsula!
It was a nice, comfortable tour that allowed us to view all the beautiful highlights of the Cape Peninsula!
Did two day tours with Mark - no trekking as fitness not up to it at the moment! Had a lovely time, it's wonderful to be taken around beautiful Cape Town with a local who is passionate about their city. We covered so much including all the must sees! However as a marine biologist it was also great to be with a fellow conservationist who could tell me all about all the flora and fauna and not just the usual bog standard tour blurb (he did cover all that too though if that's what you want!) And as a solo traveller it's brilliant to find someone willing to take you on a private, custom made tour at a reasonable price. Thanks to Mark for putting up with me and to Lindsay for organising everything.
