Detta är en speciell cykeltur som hjälper dig att känna det genuina Kyoto och de lokala vibbarna. Vi kommer att följa cykelrutter som noggrant valts ut av erfaren personal på Kyotos största cykeluthyrningsföretag, som betjänar cirka 30 000 personer per år. Vårt mål är att öka medvetenheten om det briljanta i att cykla i det vackra Kyoto. 20 minuters bilresa från Flagship. Vårt första stopp är en av de platser som måste ses i Kyoto, den populära Fushimi-Inari-helgedomen, som är mest känd för de tusentals Tori-portarna. Vi tar oss också för att se bambuskogarnas dolda skönhet, som de flesta av besökarna sannolikt kommer att förbise.
15 minuters bilresa från Fushimi-Irari Shrine. Därefter går vi igenom Sanjusangendo-templet, som är känt för sina 1001 statyer av Kannon, barmhärtighetens gudinna, som visas inuti templet.
10 minuters bilresa från Sanjusandengo. Efter Shirakawafloden kommer vi att cykla genom de gamla bakgatorna som leder oss till Miyagawa-cho och Tatsumi Bridge i Gion, det berömda geishadistriktet. Det tar cirka 20 minuter att åka genom området.
15 minuters bilresa från Gion District. När vi kommer närmare centrum av Kyoto City kommer vi att besöka Nanzen-ji-templet, ett av de viktigaste zentemplen i Japan.
10 minuters bilresa från Nanzenji Temple. Vårt sista stopp är den populära Shinto-helgedomen som kallas "Heian-Jingu Shrine", som är känd som en symbol för att vara Japans huvudstad för cirka 800 år sedan.
10 minuters bilresa från Heian-Jingu Shrine. Till sist tar vi oss tillbaka efter Kamogawafloden, förmodligen den mest kända floden i Kyoto. Det tar cirka 20 minuter att komma tillbaka till vårt flaggskeppsstopp.

the best way to cover the most ground! see neighborhoods you might otherwise miss. Kaz was a fantastic guide and we got plenty of exercise too! highly recommend - but be city bicycle ready!

The ebike trip guided by Karen was wonderful. You will be riding through the streets, so Caution is necessary. She took us to the river walk, and four other sites as listed. The trip was easy and casual. Karen was fabulous. I highly recommend.

Our family of five (including three teens - 13, 17, 19) all loved this tour. Aki was a very knowledgeable guide and took many family photos of us at various stops. Our kids said this was their favorite activity in Kyoto!

What a great way to see Kyoto. Our guide Aki was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was also a great photographer. I highly recommend a bike tour to see Kyoto.

We really enjoyed our morning cycle ride with our guide. She took us along the quieter backstreets en route to our destinations. This was our first time riding in a city in Japan but we felt safe with our guide who went at a good pace for us and checked with us regularly. She also gave us good explanations at each stop and stopped at points of interest on the way. The e-bikes were easy to operate and comfortable to ride. A memorable experience!

We had a fabulous time with Sato! She was so sweet and kind and gave us fantastic food recommendations for after our tour! The ride was well thought out to avoid as much pedestrian traffic as possible and still gave us great views and explanations. The bikes were more traditional style and not too bulky.

This tour was probably the highlight of our 2 week trip to Japan and we could not recommend it more. The weather wasn't ideal (chilly and mostly cloudy) but that did not detract from a wonderful experience. Aki was a fun, knowledgeable, and thoughtful guide (and great personal photographer!). We appreciated getting to some of the more popular stops early on so as to avoid the crowds. The ebikes made navigating a breeze, and made getting around an unfamiliar city less daunting. Highly recommend!!
