Trip was cancelled in the morning. We only had that day in Porto so was felt extremely let down and annoyed.
Our guide Anna was a delight to be with. We were most impressed with her attitude. We loved most the interior of the Church of Mercy, where the walls were covered with tiles of more than 300 years
Dear Jaime, thank you for sharing with us your experience. We look forward to having the opportunity to work with you in the future
Having spent the majority of our stay in Porto the trip to Averio provided additional insight to Portugal’s history and culture. Enjoyed the salt farming and seaweed gathering insight. Evy, our guide was quite informative and helpful.
Dear Linda, thank you for sharing with us your experience. We look forward to having the opportunity to work with you in the future
It's no wonder they call it the Portuguese Venice. A unique city in Portugal, charming and cozy. I already knew the city on a trip I took alone with my wife, but this time it was even better with the tour option we took to take our mothers and also our daughter to see the city. Getting to know the city with a guide was special, it introduced us to wonderful places that we hadn't known about on our first visit to the city. Thank you BeDriven, and appreciate your driver João (I forgot his last name) he was very attentive to us, making the tour even more fun.
Dear Anthony, thank you for sharing with us your experience. We look forward to having the opportunity to work with you in the future
Disappointing. The touted pictures are hard to find on site. Apart from the fact that a huge construction site restricted everything. Our guides were very good and tried.

The tour was wonderful, guide xhegou on schedule was attentive and polite. The history of the place was made told with details
Estimada Ana, obrigado por partilhar connosco a sua experiência. Esperamos contar consigo numa próxima oportunidade.
This tour sounded great, I booked it well in advance. Proceeded from US to Porto, Portugal and stayed in the Hotel. We were there two days prior to scheduled tour. The company knew the hotel, since they were picking us up there. On the day of the tour, not having excess to my e-mail we waited out front for the tour operator, no one showed up. Another tour guide was extremely helpful, and placed a call to the tour operator (BE Driven) for me that is how I found out the company had cancelled the tour. I went inside the hotel, called from the hotel phone and talked to someone apparently working for the company, hard to tell since there was children and household noise in the background. The man said they cancelled the tour because they didn't have a driver. Since the company knew well in advance of the date and time of tour, wondering why they didn't have a driver, he didn't know either. Just said, sorry it's cancelled. The company should have contacted the hotel, via phone and left a message for me, not everyone has a phone or access to e-mail in a foreign country. No, they didn't bother doing that at all. It should be noted, that I also used the company BE DRIVEN for a airport pick-up upon arrival. They couldn't do that well either, )see review). So my advice, if they can't secure a driver, can't manage a professional office staff or try to notify the customer, then the tour will be bad.
Ana was my tour guide. After picking me up from my hotel, 1st stop in Aveiro was the boat ride giving me a different perspective of the town. On the boat, there was someone who gave us info on what we were seeing. The we walked around Aveiro and saw the street art. Finally we finished with a visit to Costa Nova and the colorful houses. Did not heel rushed. The pace was very good.
This private tour started with a pick up from our hotel and a 45 minute drive to Aveiro. It's a lovely spot and we were quickly ushered onto a long "venice" boat... the tour on which was quite strange! It's 3 water avenues you go down with a few landmarks pointed out on the way, but it wasn't anything you couldn't have seen on foot and we would have preferred the walk anyhow. Impressive was the host on the boat who was able to explain everything in 4 languages. We would have liked to stay in Aveiro and check it out a little instead of feeling rushed to get back to the car and head to the next destination. The fishing village was very cute, nice to take some pictures but again we would have liked to hit up one of the restaurants on the waterfront for a drink (it was New Years Eve!). All in all, nice to see some spots outside of Porto, but there's probably a better and less rushed way to do it than on an expedition like this.
Walking through the city’s canals in a traditional mill is a memorable experience. The boat drivers make a brief but interesting historical explanation, about the salt extraction activity (by salt mines and marnotos) and the quiet views of the city from the river are unique
