My wife and I booked this private excursion because we wanted to experience more than just the typical tourist highlights of Tenerife. It ended up being one of the most memorable days of our trip. Kyrylo was an extraordinary guide. He brought incredible energy, knowledge, and genuine passion for Tenerife and the Canary Islands. His English was excellent, and throughout the day he shared the history, culture, geology, and local perspective in a way that was interesting and never felt scripted. What really made the private tour worthwhile was the flexibility. Kyrylo adapted the day to us — spending more time where we were interested, moving faster when we were ready, and even accommodating a spontaneous stop for a quick wine tasting. Seeing Teide was absolutely breathtaking and a highlight of our time in Tenerife, but Kyrylo made the entire island experience special. We had an unforgettable tailor-made private full day tour of Tenerife - which was completely bespoke for me, my husband and daughter. This trip, which was a full 8 hours (or can be customisable according to time requested) was hands-down the highlight of our trip! Our guide and driver, Alex, provided convenient door-to-door service, collecting and dropping us off right outside our hotel. We had a photo-op action packed itinerary. Alex listened to exactly what we wanted to see and do and organised the visiting spots around our wishes. We drove up from the sunny South (Golf Del Sur) and travelled along the gorgeous west coast, past Costa Adeje and the main hotel resorts all the way to the Northern parts. Navigating the stunning and jaw-dropping hairpin roads through the Masca Valley requires a genuinely skilled driver, and we could never have done it ourselves. Alex navigated the terrain safely and confidently which was most assuring to someone like me who usually feels nervous in unfamiliar terrain (particularly at high altitude!). He knew all the absolute best places to pull over so we could capture awesome scenery and enjoy endless photo opportunities. What made the trip even better was Alex’s incredible knowledge. He gave us fascinating insights into Tenerife’s history, its distinct volcanic landscapes and their relation to the islands of La Palma and La Gomera and the remarkable flora and fauna of Masca. It was so interesting to learn about the Agave plants used to make tequila, as well as the large seed 'trees'. We even got to taste unique cactus ice cream from a local store in Masca. We truly got to experience the island's diverse climate zones firsthand. Afterward, he took us to Garachico, an historial port town, where we got to explore a more authentic side of Tenerife and hear how the destructive volcanic eruptions here shaped its history as well as browse local, independent stores. Alex also showed us the beautiful natural swimming pools on the coastline, giving us the opportunity to swim if we wanted to. Before the day ended, Alex explained some of the other fantastic tours Trek Tenerife offers, including hiking excursions to remote areas like the prehistoric Anaga forest, which we would love to try another time. We also picked up some inexpensive lava bracelets from a local vendor, which serve as a wonderful, memorable keepsake of our day. This is a fantastic tour. Alex showed us the highlights and hidden gems of the island. He is knowledgeable, personable and fun. We saw a lot, learned a lot and laughed together. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was excellent. We can honestly say this was the best day of our 3 week vacation.

We were very lucky to experience a very extraordinary tour with Liliya in Tenerife yesterday – and honestly it was much more than just a “tour”. The tour was great! The itinerary covers everything you need to see in Tenerife in one day! Eugenio, our tour guide, was very personable and respectful. He was open to adjusting the schedule to fit our taste. My only critic is that he is Russian and he had some difficulty speaking Spanish. While visiting a Spanish speaking country I assumed that would not be an issue. The overlooks and trails he took us were absolutely beautiful ! Thank you 😊

A wonderful day trip with countless impressions. At each stop there was a spectacular view of the landscape - whether Teide Volcano, Teide National Park, Masca or the north coast. The guide Alex knew the best places and could explain an awful lot and well. It was an unforgettable experience that I can only recommend to anyone. There's no other tour like this with Alex.

Alex is an amazing tour guide! He is very knowledgeable on the flora and fauna and historical facts about Tenerife and told us stories in a humorous way that kept the journey fun. Initially, I was worried as some people in my group had mobility issues, but Alex planned the tour in a way where all of us could enjoy it. Throughout the tour, he also took beautiful photos of my family and always knew the best spots to get the best picture. Not only that, he put in a lot of effort to make sure that each landmark was not just a photo stop, but also an educational moment. The ride was incredibly comfortable for our group of 8.
