Utforska byarna och landskapen runt Teneriffas Mt Teide och Mascadalen på en heldagstur! Efter att ha lämnat södra Teneriffa, ta dig genom UNESCO: s världsarvslistade Teide nationalpark där främmande vulkaniska sevärdheter finns i överflöd. Passera genom Vilaflor, en av Spaniens högst belägna byar, stanna till för foton på öns berömda drakträd som är över 3000 år gammalt i Icod De Los Viños. Njut av Garachico den ursprungliga hamnen på Teneriffa som förstördes av det senaste vulkanutbrottet och känd för sina naturliga stenbassänger. Sedan Masca byn på en klippa den underbara kanariska byn instoppad i bergen. Med mycket mer att se och upptäcka med denna resa kommer du inte bli besviken. Du kommer att ha tid för lunch i en rekommenderad restaurang eller ta din egen lunch som det finns många ställen att sitta och äta. Detta är endast för North pick-ups.
Ett kort stopp i en av de högsta byarna i Europa. Endast södra pickups.
Ta en härlig promenad runt de berömda klippformationerna med fantastisk utsikt över vulkanen Teide och nationalparken. Utsikt över bassängen där marken sjönk nedanför Teides kon under utbrottet. Ibland kan vi stanna till vid klippformationen zapato de la reina.
Se Chiñero vulkanens lavafält (det senaste av utbrotten här på Teneriffa 1906)
Stanna av i Icod de los Vinos för att titta på det gamla drakträdet som är 3000 år gammalt. (det gamla folket är om trädet skärs kommer det att blöda.) Byn Icod är rustik med den typiska kyrkan och torget.
Tillbringa lite tid här i kanske de vackraste byarna på Teneriffa. Jag lilla by gömd i vecken på västra Teneriffa. En gemenskap av människor som ville vara gömda från resten av ön. Fantastisk utsikt över en ravin som leder ner till Los Gigantes. MASCA HAR STÄNGTS FÖR AUGUSTI MÅNAD PÅ GRUND AV BRANDRISK.
Garachico är den ursprungliga första hamnen på Teneriffa tills den förstördes 1706 av vulkanutbrottet. Ha tid att ta en promenad genom centrum eller ta plats på torget under träden och njuta av naturen.

Upphämtningsplatser och tider
Upphämtningsplatser finns på kustorterna på Teneriffa, tiderna kan variera beroende på var du bor.. De flesta upphämtningar är före 08.30 Landsbygd ur vägen vandrarhem / AirBNB kunder kommer att behöva resa lite för att nå de större kuststäderna. Vi plockar inte upp från alla hotell. En nära central punkt kan utfärdas till dig. (kort gångavstånd) Vi plockar inte upp i Santa Cruz, LA LAGUNA eller landsbygdsområden. Vi hämtar inte från PALM MAR eller ABADES. Alla North pickuper är endast från PUERTO DE LA CRUZ. Vi besöker inte längre klipporna i Los Gigantes. Costa del Silencio och Las Galletas hämtar vi bara tisdagar och torsdagar El Medano hämtar vi varje dag men inte på onsdagar eller fredagar.

We ordered English tour, result was that tour guide talking 80% Spanish, 15% German and rest was A1 level English (e.g. “now we go north”, “we can see Mt. Teide” ….). We were not stopping for anything interesting or view point, mostly at cafe or shop. Lost day from our holiday
Masca Valley, one of the key parts of the tour, was closed throughout August, due to fire risk. But this was not mentioned on the website at time of booking (3rd August), nor in any emails to follow. We only found out when we joined the tour bus on the day (5th August). The itinerary has since been updated. Obviously the closure is out of the tour operators control but it would have been good to give us time to reconsider. Not enough time at Teidi to look in visitors centre. A lot of time on the bus.

We did add an update to our platform on 1st August regarding the situation, although we are unsure why this information was not visible to you at the time, and we sincerely apologise for this. This has been a very unusual and unfortunate situation. Due to the exceptional weather conditions and increased fire risk, Masca was temporarily closed at very short notice. As stated in our tour information, itineraries can occasionally be subject to changes due to unforeseen weather and safety conditions. Thankfully, the weather has now cooled and we are pleased to say that Masca has reopened. We completely appreciate how disappointing this must have been, particularly given the timing of your visit. It was an unfortunate combination of circumstances and, unfortunately, bad timing. We have taken this experience on board and will do our very best to be even more prepared and proactive should we face another short-notice closure due to fire risk or other exceptional circumstances. Once again, we are very sorry for the disappointment and appreciate your understanding.
Wonderful! We saw so many beautiful places in one day. The guide was knowledgeable and told us many interesting facts about the history, geography and culture of Tenerife. She talked in both English and Spanish, so it was a great opportunity to practise our Spanish listening skills. The only negative thing - not enough time to explore the Masca village. It was rushed. After quite a long and scary journey up the hill, we should be able to spend more time up there. Good value for money.
The guide should speak more in English
Many thanks for your review. The guide has to split the languages evenly. We do try to keep languages seperate when we can., however it is not always possible. Mixing a langauge or 2 keeps the cost down for clients wanting to partake in the trip.

Hmm we did Tiede by night I was expecting more. To be fair though I live in Shetlsnd where we have Aurora Borielis regularly and some mind blowing sun sets can't say I'd recommend this trip its quite pricey for what you get

It was not the highlight of our journey. Most of our time was spent in the minibus between the planned places to visit.

A 9 hour experience that didn't feel half that long. Huge praise for the guide, Isidro, and the driver, Ramon. Isidro was full of great information that didn't feel overwhelming and forgettable, and with a pinch of his humor, that added to the overall charm, helped us create some forever lasting memories. We had some free time in every place that we stopped at. Sometimes just about 20 minutes to take pictures or absorb the views, sometimes longer, so we can drink a coffee or eat something quick. All in all great trip!

Great tour with stops along the Tenerife coast and mountains in Masca and Teide. Well worth the cost.
