Vår turné börjar vid en typisk Victoria-munkbutik, Empire Donuts, i hjärtat av centrum. Empire är känt för sina unika munkar i en intergalaktisk butik i 50-talsstil. Därifrån går vi en kort bit till ett älskat kaffe- och munkställe i Victoria och passerar några av de bästa restaurangställena (enligt våra guider!) längs vägen. Därefter tar vi oss ner till Government Street och tar in den inre hamnen som inkluderar Empress hotel och parlamentsbyggnader. När vi väver oss tillbaka in i centrum kommer vi så småningom att hitta vår tredje munkplats, en lokal ma och popbutik för härliga munkar. Slutligen ska vi gå mot Chinatown och avsluta vid Friend and Family Bake i Fantan Alley. Det här bageriet har många filippinska godsaker, inklusive munkar, och om vi har tur kan vi se dessa läckra godsaker göras. Husband booked this as a filler for our last day in Victoria, not realising it was Canada Day! Ended up running over slightly from the 2 hours stayed but it was such a lovely group and Liam our guide was brilliantly knowledgeable (he’s fairly newbie but you wouldn’t guess it, he’s good!) The coffee and donuts were fabulous with a nod to Empire, Discovery and a brilliant one in Chinatown from a Filipino bakery which were off the charts amazing! Overall would recommend to do this tour

We absolutely loved the Underground Donut Tour! It was our very first walking tour, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Liam was such a wonderful guide, friendly, personable, and full of fascinating stories about Victoria’s history and culture. We visited four unique donut shops, each with its own charm, and loved getting to try something different at every stop. The combination of delicious treats, local history, and a relaxed walk through the city made for such a memorable experience. We left with full bellies, a greater appreciation for Victoria, and a big smile on our faces. We would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city!

Some of the donut shops were closed or ran out of donuts. Last stop we thought would be a donut shop in china town but it was a breakfast restaurant that provided a sliver of a dessert. Many were closed because it was a Sunday. Would have liked a heads up that many bakeries are closed on Sundays. What we tried were good but would have preferred a little more donuts.

We began at Empire donuts with 7 in our group. We received 1/4 of 3 types of donuts at each stop(4 stops) which was plenty by the time you get to the end as well as a coffee if you like at Discovery coffee which was very good. All of the donuts were a different flavor and even a savory donut when we were in Chinatown as our last stop. We walked a moderate amount but stopped several times with the guides providing good information about the history of the area and were knowledgeable of the area as they live there. The guides were very good and we enjoyed their tour of the area as well as the donuts that were fresh at each location. Recommend as a fun tour as well as gaining some local history.

Wonderful experience. Liam and Burke were spectacular guides. They were friendly to the group and chatted with all of us during the tour. They were very accommodating and personable. The tour stops were all top notch, and we all left full of delicious treats.

Bomb.com. Nice pace between stops and a good balance of knowledge on the city and snacks. Highly recommend. Come hungry& where comfy shoes for walking.

Confused. I was looking for a city tour with donuts. Our tour guide was not great at conveying facts about the city. She seemed to know some interesting stories but they were drowned out by traffic noise and by the inability to address our small group in a loud and clear manner. Also when talking about the donuts… who cares! They are donuts! You can’t wave a plate of donuts at us and expect us to give a crap about what you are saying. Talk while cutting the donuts. Talk while passing out the donuts. Talk while we taste the donuts. What we got should not have taken 2 hours of our cruise ship excursion.
