För att börja turen ska vi se Angkor Wat-templet och solnedgången där. Detta enorma tempel byggdes i början av 1100-talet av kung Suryavarman 2. Angkor Wat har tre nivåer med 5 huvudtorn. Angkor Wat har blivit Kambodjas nationella symbol och finns till och med på nationens flagga eftersom den symboliserar landets själ. Därefter ska vi besöka Ta Prohm Temple, känt som Tomb Raider Temple med trädet som täcker templet. Sedan besöker vi Angkor Thom City, Elephant Terrace och Bayon Temple stannar vid södra porten i Angkor Thom City. Till sist ska vi se solnedgången vid berget Phnom Bakheng.

Det heter som Tonle Oum. Den här staden har 5 grindar som södra porten, spökeporten eller den döda porten, segerporten, dei chhnangporten eller nordporten och dödande grinden. Den här staden har 3 kilometer på varje sida.
Bakheng Mountain ligger nära Angkor Wat-templet. Den ligger cirka 1,5 kilometer nordväst om Angkor Wat. Det är ett hinduiskt tempelberg tillägnat Shiva och byggdes på 800-talet av kung Yasovarman I. Det är det äldsta templet i Angkors arkeologiska park och är en av de mest populära turistattraktionerna i Kambodja. Templet är byggt på en 79 meter hög kulle och har fem sandstenshelgedomar på översta nivån. Helgedomarna är arrangerade i ett quincunx-mönster, med en i mitten och en i varje hörn av nivåns kvadrat. Templet är också omgivet av 108 små torn, som till största delen har rasat. Phnom Bakheng är en populär plats för solnedgången, eftersom den erbjuder panoramautsikt över Angkors arkeologiska park. Det är också ett populärt ställe att se soluppgången, men utsikten är inte lika bra som vid Angkor Wat. I had an incredible experience exploring Angkor Wat with Sun as my private guide. From the moment the tour began, Sun’s warmth, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the temples made the entire day unforgettable. He shared the history, symbolism, and hidden stories of each site in a way that was engaging, clear, and full of passion. Thom was a wonderful guide, he was welcoming and friendly, spoke English very well and was very knowledgeable on his subject. We really enjoyed the tour, Thom had a very good sense of humour and we had good fun. One of our party of three had some difficulty with mobility, he adapted the tour to suit us all. Afternoon tour was hot…midday was 95*. A lot of steps & walking/hiking for us in our 70s. Sun was informative & patient.

I did the Angkor Wat temples tour by bicycle. It was fantastic. We started out from the Empress Angkor Wat Resort & Spa, rode to Angkor Wat temple, followed by Ta Prohm (aka Tomb Raider) Temple, followed by Bayon Temple then back to Empress in Siem Reap. All in all, the tour took around 6Hrs including a stop for lunch at a nice local restaurant. Distance wise it was approximately 35km of riding, all easy flat and mostly paved. I am a keen cyclist, and typically seek out bike tours when I visit places, this one was great. Besides the riding, Mr Chuop was an excellent guide. I learned a lot about Khmer history and the temples. Thom from "Travel to Inspire" tours was also great, proactively contacting me days before the tour to confirm bike size and pickup arrangements. I highly recommend this tour!

We took this amazing tour yesterday. Was fantastic, very puntual well organized and caring with details. Water and soft drinks in the car. Cold towels after the visits. Sophi, our guide, is awesome. He speaks Spanish very well. Al the time explaining the sites with high enthusiasm. 5 stars !!
