Njut av att prova tre typer av vin på varje vingård, samtidigt som du lär dig mer om vinsmaker och hur du bättre degusterar. Gå sedan upp till den högsta toppen i Algarve-regionen i södra Portugal. Avnjuta en lunch eller middag med utsikt över kustlinjens solnedgång i en restaurang på bergstoppen med några av de bästa specialiteterna från det portugisiska köket och panoramautsikt över Algarve.

Ligger på norra gränsområdet Portimão och Alvor. Med det stora berget Monchique, som dominerar utsikten när vi är vid vingårdarna, har denna stora egendom också växande områden med korkträd, vetefält och apelsinträd. I familjen sedan 1865 och producenter av druvor från en lång tid byggde denna gård sin moderna vingård 1999 och var den första som producerade certifierad beteckning av ursprungsviner i Algarve. I esplanaden, i butiken eller på ekfat är traditionen för denna familjegård synlig.
Ligger norr Portimão, redan i Silves län. Det är en exklusiv vinodlingsproduktion, den som ligger längst norrut i regionen, precis vid början av Monchique-bergen. Ägs av ett portugisisk-franska par som träffades på Bordeaux, där han föddes och växte upp omgiven av vinpåverkan. De flyttade i regionen i början av seklet för att starta detta projekt från noll. I sluttningarna av Odelouca River Vlley planterade de sin vingård och byggde sin lilla men välutrustade vingård, som också är värd för ett smakrum, fatrum och laboratorium.

What an excellent way to spend the morning and afternoon. The outfit is a family operation, meaning the tour guide has a personal stake in ensuring you have a good time. The vineyards on your tour are family farms that put great effort into producing excellent wines. The view from the terrace on the mountain top at lunch was stunning, and the food was absolutely superb. Don’t miss this very fun activity!

This tour is a must! From start to finish, Fabio was so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating for me and our group. The wineries were beautiful and the wine was very good! The scenery along the way was amazing. The lunch at the top of the mountain was quite an experience! Would def recommend!

Our guide Fabio was very informative before the trip answering my queries promptly . On the the day he was very knowledgeable about the wine making process, Both wineries were quite different from each other . Fabio was helpful, knowledgeable, and comfortable to be around throughout the day. The van is also comfortable and air conditioned. We both get carsick and had no issues even going up and down the mountain. There were two of us, so we did one premium tasting and one regular tasting at each Quinta, which was a fun way to try more of the wines. Driving up to Monchique was very beautiful, and you get to see the cork forest on the way up. We went to O Luar da Foia, where we both tried black pork. This is a LARGE amount of food, so go hungry, because it is delicious! Overall, this was a wonderful experience. Fabio is very patient and personable, and answered all of our questions. The wine and food were delicious. Fabio’s recommendations were great. Don’t skip this!

This is an intimate wine tasting and learning experience that Fabio has curated. We learned so much about the history of Algarve wine production through modern day, and simply relaxed and enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and welcoming spirit of the residents in this region. Bonus black pork consumption included.
