We did this tour starting from Luxor. Ahmed was a great guide. Made sure we were comfortable and had all we need.Very informative and made it fun.
Ahmed Osman is an amazing Tour Guide, He is Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, passionate and committed to the customers satisfaction and experience ! We had Two great days with Ahmed in Aswan (Feb 2021): First Day was an amazing tour for Abou Simbel (for the first time ever) He arranged a private comfortable car (Mr. Taher was a good driver and you can feel safe with him !) and he guided us to take a deep dive in the great history of both temples! He was very informative, knowledgeable & engaging and after that he recommended one of best places to take our lunch there (A great Seafood Meal in one of best Nubian Houses in Abou Simbel) and Second Day was a wonderful tour in Aswan to see the must-see Philae Temple at early morning as well to take the boat at afternoon in the great Nile to explore the Nubian Village and take an amazing lunch there. Definitely, I would highly recommend Ahmed Osman to anyone interested to explore this great spot in Egypt !

I personally would not recommend this tour, but I won't give it a poor review because I'd say the faults are 50% the guide and 50% the type of tour it was. It didn't feel totally worth it to drive so far for only an hour or two at the temples and there is not much to see. But that's a personal opinion. We were pretty frustrated with the lack of knowledge the tour guide had. He only spent about 5-10 minutes going over the history and it didn't make much sense. If I were to do it again I would spend less money to go on a larger tour as there was no real benefit to the private one IMO.
We appericiate your feed back but it's an option of our tours to choose abusimble trip and you have flight at 3 PM and you have to be at aswan airport at 1 pm so the convoy to abusimble start at 5 so we have just 8 hours 3 hours to go and 3 hours to back 2 hours to see the temple , If you wouldn't have your flight we would take more much time in abusimbel and invite you for lunch as well it's just your short scedual .
This tour was particularly my favorite in Egypt, we contacted with flyby tours and booked the tour the staff was polite and organized everything smoothly our tour guide came on time and pick us up from our hotel at 5 am . His name ahmed osman omy this man is very knowledgeable and perfect and his English was excellent I would recommend him for everyone . The car was very fancy and new with A/C . The temple was less crowded which made it more pleasant to appreciate, we drove for 3 hours to get there, but trust me, it was completely worth it, and also the landscape of the dessert was so beautiful to watch, the sunrise and everything ,thanks flyby tours team

Faizer had been in touch with me before the trip had begun. He helped coordinate with my hotel reception . Ahmed osman the tour guide was on time. Me and my family had a lovely journey to abu simble. The van was modern and comfortable. The temole was amizing andThe lake Nasser in the background is not a sight to be missed either. Ahmed osman was very knowledgeable and professional and really we enjoyed together and i think he's the best egyptologist in africa and egypt , On the way back the drivers also helped us locate mirages on the right side of the road which was fantastic. It was a trip of a lifetime. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to view Abu Simbel temples.

Abu Simbel is one of the best places you can visit from Aswan. We were picked up by 5 am in the morning with modern air conditioning coach . Breakfast was packed at the old cataract hotel aswan, our egyptologist Ahmed osman was on time waiting us in reception .The drivers were good and we arrived at Abu Simbel at 8 am. Osman greeted us and quickly took us to the temple area. A good idea to start early is to avoid crowds. The place starts getting crowded by 9 am. Make sure to reach as soon as possible to click on the pictures. We saw temples, . Osman explained to us how the temples were rebuilt, the story behind the temples. The best part of the trip was the desert. You can see the desert on the way, and experience the Mirage. After the visit, we started at 9:45 AM and got back on our hotel by 1 PM. we were contacted minutes after booking and picked up on time. pick up with privatecar it was new and very comfortable. The driver slowed down before speed bumps so we wouldn't shake much. our The egyptologist ahmed osman knows a lot and explains everything about the temples very well! My wife and I went to abu simble , our tour guide meet us at aswan airport at an appropriate time. With vety modern private car . They also took us back to the Aswan Hotel after the tour. Everything went perfect. The guide ahmed osman was very knowledgeable about the history and made us feel welcome. Abu Simbel Temple is a good trip south of Aswan but well worth it.egypt is a very beautiful country. I would highly recommend flyby tours to do abu simble in right way
