My friends and I had the most amazing time exploring Egypt and its ancient histories through this tour package. From the get go, we were looked after by the most amazing Egyptologist tour guide called Hassan. He had a wealth of knowledge about ancient Egyptian history and could almost answer any questions asked. He was very accommodating and made sure that we were well hydrated throughout the tour. Hassan also gave us some advice about how much to tip and how to avoid scams. He was very helpful throughout the trip and made us feel safe. The tour itself was very organised, some of which we had to get up early mornings but it was all worth it to beat the crowds. We went for a 4-day cruise which we all felt was enough to see and explore Aswan and Luxor. Admission fees were all included in this package apart from Abu Simbel and the Ramses tomb at the Valley of the Kings. However, would definitely recommend paying extra fees to visit these places as they are just amazing and so well preserved. Hassan also gave us plenty of time to take photos after explaining the history of the place. The cruise was very clean and provided nice food and entertainment. The only issue we had at the start was the air conditioning but this was quickly settled afterwards. Overall, very happy and very satisfied to have gone on this trip. Truly one of the most unforgettable vacation of my life! Would definitely recommend this tour company and this tour guide

Both the cruise by Egypt Unlimited and our private tour guide Hassan were incredibly welcoming, accommodating to our needs and determined to make our travels from Aswan to Luxor an amazing journey! The cruise crew were always on hand if we needed anything, there was entertainment (Egyptian music, belly dancing) at night, and many facilities to relax (lounge, sun deck etc). Specifically, we highly recommend our private tour guide Hassan, who was so knowledgeable about the history of Ancient Egypt and the temples we visited. He was always so organised that we were able to beat the crowds, go to the best spots in the temples for both historical fun facts and great photos! He made sure to take care of our needs by giving us genuine advise on the most worth it sights and experiences. He even went the extra mile to show us around the Aswan market, took us on a horse carriage ride and ensured we experienced the best version of Egypt!! (Make sure you ask for Hassan!) Amazing tour with Egypt Unlimited and the best tour guide, Hassan, who was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with us. He explained everything about ancient Egypt so clearly and did a fantastic job of highlighting the important elements of each site, which was especially helpful given how overwhelming the amount of information could be. From pick-up to drop-off, everything was exceptionally well organised and the timings were consistently punctual. Hassan also made sure we stayed well hydrated throughout the day, particularly in the 40°C desert heat, and took excellent care of us throughout the tour. I would not hesitate to book another tour with Egypt Unlimited, and having a guide like Hassan made our Egyptian experience even more memorable. We had a lovely 4 day cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Unlimited, and Hassan was an excellent tour guide throughout the trip. He was incredibly supportive, accommodating and well organised, making sure all the tours and activities ran smoothly and that everything was taken care of. We are a couple and we took the 4-day Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor. We had a marvelous experience and this was coupled by having “Mo” as our private tour guide. We are also delighted that we booked this with Egypt Unlimited since they provided concierge service right from the get go, with a personal greeter when we arrived at Aswan airport, and an airport escort when we departed from Luxor. What made the trip truly remarkable was our assigned private tour guide, Mo, who is not only a delightful person, but also a knowledgeable Egyptologist, and an excellent ambassador for Egypt Unlimited and his country. Very pleasant setting in a luxurious boat. The cabin was spacious and the beds comfortable. The dining offer included in the cruise was incredible, with very tasty dishes. The excursions are perfectly managed by a private French-speaking guide, who takes care of both the transfers and the purchase of entrance tickets. The excursion to Abu Simbel is rather expensive, with a very long car ride, but it was worth it. Sailing on the Nile is very pleasant and relaxing. Although the boat is a good size, we were not crowded by the masses, making our stay perfect. Prefer the shops on land rather than on the boat.

Travellers should be advised of extreme weather ie high temperatures and it is not suitable for the elderly and people that have high blood pressure and heart conditions.We were aware of the optional tours ( Abu Simbel and hot air balloon) start very early. Although we were advised that all other tours start at 8 am ,we had to leave at 4.30 am for Edfu temple. There are too many tours crammed into the 4 day cruise. Travellers should be advised of additional costs for some tours eg visiting other tombs , unnecessary tipping at the tour sites and high prices of food and cool drinks for tourists. There are no safety measures in place in case of an emergency at the tour sites.There was no safety briefing on the boat prior to leaving Aswan .

Regarding your comments about the high temperatures, please note that your booking was made during the summer season, when high temperatures are expected. The safety instructions and recommendations for the cruise are also provided in your room, located on the back of the door. We would also like to clarify that there are medical clinic centers available at each sightseeing site as part of the safety measures in place. You may not have noticed them because, fortunately, you did not need to use them. However, these facilities and procedures are available should any emergency occur during the tours. We always take our guests’ safety and comfort seriously and have appropriate measures in place throughout the trip. Good vessel. Very pleasant sailing. Well organized on board. Decent food. Clean cabin. We had a problem with a water leak from the shower, and they ended up changing our cabin. Small pool, but it is appreciated. Bar next to the pool. The first day the boat stays docked in Aswan, and the visit for this day ends at 12:00 PM, so, unless you book an activity for the afternoon, you stay on the boat all day. This did not seem logical to us. The guide, decent.

This tour was definitely worth it to not have to worry about navigating on our own. I feel it was the best way to see all the temples on our list. It was also great having a private guide. The staff on the cruise were all very friendly and professional. The food didn’t agree with us but overall for a little cruise ship it wasn’t bad. I would recommend this if you want to see a lot of temples and just for the experience of cruising the Nile river.
