Se alla tempel på en dag runt Angkor Complex är omöjligt eftersom det finns mer än 70 ruiner i denna Angkor arkeologiska park. men det vi ska göra och se är annorlunda och naturligtvis kommer vi inte att se dem alla, bara stora tempel!!! Vi skapar detta unika sätt att se alla dessa tempel mindre trånga så mycket som möjligt genom vår erfarenhet.

Börja först med Angkor Wat Temple.
Detta är ett känt tempel av filmen Tomb Raider. Ta Prohm (prasat ta prohm) är det moderna namnet på templet i Angkor, Siem Reap-provinsen, Kambodja, byggt i Bayon-stil till stor del i slutet av 1100-talet och början av 1200-talet och ursprungligen kallat Rajavihara. Beläget cirka en kilometer öster om Angkor Thom och på den södra kanten av East Baray, grundades det av Khmer-kungen Jayavarman VII som ett Mahayana-buddhistiskt kloster och universitet. Till skillnad från de flesta Angkoriska tempel är Ta Prohm i ungefär samma skick som den hittades i: den fotogeniska och atmosfäriska kombinationen av träd som växer fram ur ruinerna och djungelns omgivning har gjort det till ett av Angkors mest populära tempel bland besökare. UNESCO skrev in Ta Prohm på världsarvslistan 1992.
Detta är ett av det dolda templet i denna arkeologiska park.
Bayon är ett rikt dekorerat Khmer-tempel i Angkor i Kambodja. Byggt i slutet av 1100- eller början av 1200-talet som den statliga templet för Mahayana-buddhistkungen Jayavarman VII, står Bayon i mitten av Jayavarmans huvudstad, Angkor Thom Efter Jayavarmans död, ändrades och förstärktes det av senare hinduiska och Theravada buddistkungar i i enlighet med sina egna religiösa preferenser. Bayons mest utmärkande kännetecken är mångfalden av lugna och leende stenytor på de många tornen som går ut från den övre terrassen och klusterar runt dess centrala topp. [3] Templet har två uppsättningar basreliefer, som presenterar en kombination av mytologiska, historiska och vardagliga scener. Det huvudsakliga konservatoriet, det japanska regeringsgruppen för skydd av Angkor (JSA), beskrev templet som "det mest slående uttrycket av den barocka stilen" i Khmer-arkitekturen, i motsats till den klassiska stilen i Angkor Wat.
Pre Rup var tillägnad den hinduiska guden Shiva, och den ligger förmodligen på ett före detta shiva-ashram, byggt av Yasovarman I under föregående århundrade.[6] Kanske stod den i centrum av en ny huvudstad byggd av Rajendravarman, med den södra vallen i East Baray som norra stadsgränsen, men inget av bostäderna överlevde[6] och denna "östliga stadshypotes" av Philippe Stern bekräftades aldrig genom arkeologiska upptäckter.

I and my friend booked a tour for our 1st day in Angkor, to get good understanding of the place, history and specifics. We deeply enjoyed the tour with Mr. Win Sok: it was full of details on history and architecture, he has shown us the best views and paths, last but not least provided us with a good place to have a lunch. Deep thanks to our driver, who moved us smoothly from one place to another! Angkor amused us deeply, we'll continue to discover it in the nearest days and maybe take some other tour for the countryside as well.
We had a tour with Mr Lux ( Nguon Sominea) and we really enjoyed it. What we liked most is: 1. that the guide was very professional and well-educated with excellent command of English 2. Very friendly and with great photographic skills 3. Time management- we’ve managed to visit many things within a good amount of time which is impossible if we were on a group tour. 4. Wet towels with eucalyptus oil - very refreshing and giving a lot of energy 5. The opportunity to dive deeper in the culture since Mr Lux has a very good knowledge in history and culture. Oh my goodness, what an experience! My second trip to Siem Reap, this time I brought my 82yo dad. I re-booked Lux having used him on our last trip. He’s nothing short of amazing. Two days - he adjusted our agenda for what my dad could cope with. He is extremely knowledgeable but doesn’t bombard you with info. Just perfect. We visited the main temples in the Angkor Wat park, also some smaller less-known ones (my faves!). Also visited the Tonle Sap lake. He took us to lovely local places for coffee breaks and lunches. Can’t wait to return. And will definitely be booking Lux again!

What a fantastic day! Upon request our tour was customized with no problem. We had a leivste van and driver and i could not have asked for more. Very reliable. If i ever need a toir or transportation i no longer have to guess. I would highly recommend ss this was my second tour. I will oc course recommend to anyone. Perfect english was spoken and such a great personality!!!! It did not fel like a tour guide but more like a new local friend. Im very happy

It was our second visit to Angkor Wat abd we wanted it to be different. We knew Lux from our previous trip where we did the Siem Reap city tour. We discussed our expectations with him and he proposed a one day tour taking this consideration. Lux is very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible guide. He knew the very details of the temples in Bantey Srei and Angkor. He was always there to provide appropriate information and attentive to our remarks. We had an extraordinary day with him.

We used Lux and a driver for a tour of the major temples. We did not want to see the sunrise so Lux suggested a sunset to finish, which worked really well for us. Also, we had friends with us that have limited mobility and Lux was able to obtain permission to get our vehicle across the more and right up to Angkor Eat which was "above & beyond" expectations. Consequently, we would very highly recommend Lux and all his knowledge.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Heang, was brilliant--encyclopedic memory of Hindu and Buddhist pantheons of gods and iconography, and a passionate way of recounting the myths and philosophies behind them. The vehicle was very comfortable, tour was well paced, with breaks from the hot sun, and Heang was flexible and accomodated to our interests and needs. Highly recommended.
