Utforska i en guidad och klimatkontrollerad Search & Rescue Fat Truck/Sherp samtidigt som du håller dig säker från väder, insekter och enstaka vilda djur. Denna 3 timmars tur tar dig av vägen upp branta gruvstigar till utsikt, lär dig om den lokala historien och geologiska formationer nära Denali National Park i en äventyrlig off road Fat Truck sök och räddningsfordon. (Planera på ca 3,5-4 timmar om du använder hotellets transferservice från utvalda hotell under sommarsäsongen)

Transfer tillgänglig från 1 maj - 30 september. Vänligen meddela oss vilket hotell du kommer att bo på så att vi kan samordna en transfer om du behöver det. The Shuttle kommer att hämta gäster på lokak hotell 30-45 minuter före turnéns starttid och returnera dem 30-45 minuter efter turnéns sluttid.

This is by far one of the most memorable experiences we had while visiting Alaska. Joel and his wife were knowledgeable about the area and also were alot of fun to hang out with. The Sherp’s were crazy fun to ride in. I especially loved playing in the water with these amazing vehicles. I highly recommend this experience for everyone. Jim and Paula Adams- September 2026
This was a fantastic experience. The areas we went to have beautiful views enhanced by the fall colors. As a person that can experience motion sickness, I never once felt uncomfortable. The guides had extensive knowledge and they help provide pics and video. Definitely a great excursion.
What a fun excursion!! Stefen was incredible with his knowledge and fun facts of the area, wildlife and the vehicle. This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Alaska!

This was one of the best experiences we had in Alaska! Absolutely recommend this unique tour, with fantastic commentary that was really informative. We had Tim as our driver, who was amazing with his dual function drone operating. The team really know their stuff and put everything into the 3 hours to make it such an exciting experience. We were not really sure what to expect and walked away amazed, with an added bonus of video and drone footage of our tour and wildlife we saw.
Absolute fantastic experience! The drivers were hilarious and had tons of great stories to keep us entertained! Drove through terrain that seemed unnatural but handled so easily you forgot it was unnatural. Saw lots of moose. They’re FAA certified drone pilots and would use drones to get different views of the wildlife and show them on monitors in the vehicle, and then as part of your tour, a compilation video of YOUR tour is provided to you before you leave which includes drone footage. This is a must do if you’re in the Denali NP area.

The guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the geology and the area in general. The Big disappointment was you really didn’t get in the “outback “ part of Alaska. It was more like a tour of a rural neighborhood. Left unsatisfied…….
Glad your guide was excellent! Sorry you were disappointed that a 3 hour tour only took you up over 1000 feet in elevation on a mountain side, then down through a boreal forest, then down a riverbed to a lateral glacial moraine, then amphibious in a lake. Sorry that was not "outback" or wilderness enough for you :( One of the hard parts with these impressive vehicles is managing expectations, the vehicles turn some of the most rugged terrain and trails into a smooth ride, and some guests expect to be beaten up by the end of a ride, or else they don't feel they experienced the wilderness enough.
The tour was fabulous. The drone video of our excursion was a huge bonus! Thanks to Elizabeth, Tim and Joel for making this a highlight of our trip to Denali.! We look forward to bringing friends and family when we return to Denali!

Denali Fat Truck Tours was easily one of the most unique and enjoyable experiences we have had in Alaska. From beginning to end, the entire operation was professional, well organized, informative, and—most importantly—a tremendous amount of fun. The SHERP fat trucks are remarkable vehicles. Seeing what they can handle firsthand is an experience in itself. They travel across terrain that would stop an ordinary vehicle in its tracks, giving you an opportunity to experience the Alaska wilderness from an entirely different perspective. The ride combines genuine off-road adventure with the comfort of an enclosed, climate-controlled vehicle, making it enjoyable regardless of the weather outside. What really sets Denali Fat Truck Tours apart, however, is the people. The guides are personable, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and clearly have a genuine appreciation for Alaska and the Denali area. This isn't simply a ride in an unusual vehicle. Along the way, you learn about the landscape, wildlife, geology, history, and life in Alaska. The combination of local knowledge, good storytelling, spectacular scenery, and humor makes the time pass far too quickly. We were also impressed by the attention to safety and professionalism. It is obvious that the people running this company know their equipment, understand the environment in which they operate, and take their responsibility for their guests seriously. At the same time, they manage to keep the experience relaxed, personal, and genuinely fun. There are plenty of tours to choose from when visiting Alaska, but Denali Fat Truck Tours offers something genuinely different. It is the kind of experience you will still be talking about long after your Alaska trip is over. If you are visiting the Denali area and are trying to decide whether this tour is worth the time and money, do it. We would gladly take the tour again and recommend Denali Fat Truck Tours without hesitation. Five stars aren't enough for an experience this memorable.
