På denna tur kommer vi att vandra genom de mest emblematiska hörnen av Cádiz och jag kommer att berätta den fascinerande historien gömd i den äldsta staden i väst, livlig med nyfikna berättelser och anekdoter från staden. Under loppet av dessa 2,5 timmar kommer du att lära dig att identifiera huset av en indisk avlastare, upptäcka några av de pärlor i vårt arv gömda i all syn, och upptäcka varför Cadiz var den enda staden i Spanien som Napoleon inte fick komma in, bland många andra saker! Från vår mötesplats bredvid stadshuset, på Plaza San Juan de Dios, låt mig guida dig genom vår 3000 år långa historia på ett dynamiskt och underhållande sätt så att du kan lära känna Cádiz idag bättre och den ledande roll vi spelade i det förflutna, gör ett särskilt stopp för att prata om "La Pepa", den första spanska konstitutionen från 1812.

Detta är utgångspunkten där vi kommer att börja med en kort förklaring om historien om Cadiz och de första civilisationerna som lever här.
Vi kommer att besöka det medeltida området och de äldsta kvarteren i Cadiz som heter "Pópulo" som byggdes på XIII-talet och där vi hittar några viktiga arv som den romerska teatern, det äldsta köpmanshuset och den gamla katedralen
I detta stopp kommer vi att se huvudfasaden av den nya katedralen i Cadiz och du kommer att lära dig om dess konstruktion
Jag ska visa er ett av lokalbefolkningens favoritställe som är färskvarumarknaden. Jag kommer att ta en tid att prata om lokal gastronomi och jag kommer att ge dig några rekommendationer.
Vi kommer att besöka Merchant's Quarter, de vackraste och lyxigaste gatorna i Cadiz. Du kommer att lära dig att känna igen en köpmans hus och som är användningen av varje våning.
Vårt sista stopp i Plaza de España. Du kommer att lära dig om en av de viktigaste ögonblicken i Cadiz, och varför det var den enda fria staden i Spanien när Napoleon invaderade vårt land.

Booking was a bit of a faff and the ticket delivery on poor WiFi is a hassle BUT the Tour was brilliant! V was an excellent tour guide - informative, interesting and full of useful info. Well paced in the summer heat of Cádiz. All round a good intro to this interesting city.

When we visit a new place, we normally sign up for a walking tour to get into the spirit of the place, and it was an excellent decision with our visit to Cádiz. Our guide, Victoria, was very welcoming, engaging and knowledgeable, with plenty of relatable personal anecdotes blended into the more formal historical and social content. Highly recommended.

Cadiz is a small city with lots of interesting history. Our guide, Victoria, was terrific. She kept control of the group while navigating the various sites and gave us lots of extra information like places to eat and mingle with locals. We learned so much more than we could have on our own, and enjoyed the company of other travelers.
