Suba a bordo de nossos veículos de luxo para explorar a icônica Whitney Plantation. Na manhã do seu passeio, nosso motorista ligará para você antes da chegada e também o cumprimentará quando chegar. Ao viajar para a plantação, ele aponta fatos interessantes ao longo do caminho, ouvindo vários tipos de jazz de Nova Orleans. Ao chegar na plantação, eles farão o check-in e darão informações do início ao fim do passeio, como o que explorar após o passeio e onde nos encontrar quando o passeio terminar. Dentro dos limites da “Habitação Haydel”, como a Whitney Plantation era originalmente conhecida, a história da família Haydel de imigrantes alemães e os escravos que eles mantinham estavam entrelaçadas. Em 2014, a Whitney Plantation abriu suas portas ao público pela primeira vez em seus 262 anos de história como o único museu de plantações na Louisiana com foco na escravidão. Por meio de exposições em museus, obras de arte memoriais, edifícios restaurados e centenas de narrativas de escravos em primeira pessoa, os visitantes de Whitney terão uma perspectiva única sobre a vida do povo escravizado da Louisiana.

You are on your own when it comes to adjustments due to weather. We had tornado and flood warnings. I called to see if the trip to the plantation was cancelled. Viator told us to check with the sponsor. We called, and were told to leave a message, and that they would get an answer on the next business day! It was FRIDAY! We took an Uber to the meeting place ($20), and was THEN called to reset the tour at noon! We had plans. Another $20 home. Viator should ALWAYS be able to get in touch with the sponsor, and be expected to make sure that we were notified! I am out $40, which was 2/3 the cost of the tour itself! Crappy business that I will never trust again!
This was my second time with Legendary Tours and it was just as amazing as the first time. Edward was do knowledgeable and funny. He alone is worth the ride but the destination is the Plantations which, is another experience all on its own. Do yourself a favor and book immediately!

Amazing experience. I loved the handheld devices that gave you the history as you went from each exhibit. Our driver Edward was very knowledgeable about the area and gave great history lessons on the way up and back. I liked how our group was small.
Edward our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. This was a really good experience, we had plenty of time and the tour was easy to follow.
Very informative and definitely a must for everyone. Such a great experience. I did the self pace tour and was able to take my time within the timeframe to be back to the bus. We talk about this tour and tell everyone we know to experience it at least once.
The Driver Edward was on time and very informative from point a to b .The company kept you posted of any possible inconveniences. Legendary tours did amazing.
This is a must see place, profoundly moving and an important, although horrific, part of our history. Beautiful grounds, serene views and an attempt to honor the lives lost of so many enslaved people.
Very interesting and learned a lot about the lives of slaves during this period. Not your typical plantation tour. Something different and informative
