O Mito de como Roma surgiu está intrinsecamente ligado a este edifício único. Do Templo sagrado e campos de Marte, originalmente fora dos muros da cidade de Roma, ao fundador de Rômulo. A estrutura posterior de Augusto ainda está hoje em perfeito estado, dois mil anos depois, graças à Igreja que se tornou - dentro do mundo das Basílicas convergem - pagã e cristã. Os túmulos do Rei e da Rainha e as formidáveis cinzas de Rafaelo jazem aqui pela eternidade.
O exterior do Panteão, suas colunas, a formação circular do templo, camadas de história explicadas (o monumento nos permite ver o passado, ajudando-nos a visualizar o que está por vir no futuro). A cúpula com seu surpreendente e único óculo (aberto para o céu) - o local onde Rômulo foi atingido por um raio (dizem).

Amanda was incredibly knowledgeable and fun to spend the time with. The deeper level of information about the structure, engineering, history etc was fascinating. This was the one tour we booked that didn’t have times changed either, so we appreciated that.
Entering the Pantheon was like stepping back into Ancient Rome Incredible that it has survived almost intact. Of all the buildings in Rome this one gives you the best idea of what life in Ancient Rome was like. Donatella our guide was fantastic and explained where we could see where pieces of the Pantheon were used to build other buildings

We had a wonderful experience on this skip-the-line Pantheon tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating history and details that brought the Pantheon to life. The skip-the-line access was well worth it and saved us a lot of time, making the entire visit smooth and stress-free. The guide also did a great job keeping the group organized and answering questions. We highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to truly appreciate one of Rome's most iconic landmarks!

I unfortunately cannot recommend this tour - while the tour guide was lovely, paying nearly $50 USD for a tour that lasted less than an hour with a 5 Euro entry fee was certainly not worth it. Additionally, a chapel service was starting at the end of our scheduled tour which kept interrupting our tour guide and made the tour feel rushed. While the Pantheon is great to visit, it would be best to do so without a tour guide.

The Pantheon tour is designed to provide historical context, insights, and stories that visitors would otherwise miss when exploring independently. We understand, however, that the value of a guided experience can vary from person to person. For some visitors, the additional historical and cultural context greatly enriches the visit, while others may prefer simply to enjoy the monument at their own pace for purely aesthetic reasons. In that sense, whether a guided tour represents good value is often a matter of personal preference. Regarding the duration of the tour, the scheduled visit can sometimes be affected by events taking place inside the Pantheon, including religious services, which occasionally take priority and are beyond our control. The tour is, however, one hour in duration, as advertised, and was conducted within the scheduled timeframe. We regret that the service interrupted your visit. At the same time, these occasions offer a rather unique experience, as visitors are able to witness the Pantheon in active use as a place of worship and, particularly on Saturdays, enjoy moments when there are very few other visitors inside. We appreciate your comments, as they help us improve both our tour descriptions and the experience we provide to future guests. Thank you again for your feedback and for visiting Rome with us.
