The Bol cocktail experience is across the street and I highly recommend you do a museum and that venue in conjunction.
The museum is exceptional with a wonderful audio guide. The art display is very well organized. Recommend buying tickets directly from museum since Viator up charges the entrance fee
It was a great experience. We had the self guided tour which we paid in advance. If you did not you would need to pay for the audio equipment at the museum. The self guided y Tour was very easy to navigate. It’s crowded but you can’t get lost. We learned a lot about Van Gough life. To see the art collection up and close was amazing! The gift shops are great. Make sure you bring money for souvenirs!
Nice experience but the cost was double compared to the normal ticket. Our fault for booking late, but evidently some tour operators buy tickets in advance and resell them for double.
We liked it a lot, everything very well organized. There is a cafeteria and food inside. Many of Van Gogh's works are in the exhibition.
Good museum with good flow. I would recommend with audio for sure. Took about 1.5 hrs. Worth the money.

The museum was amazing, and seeing Van Gogh's original paintings in person was a special experience. The audio guide added so much context and made the visit more interesting without feeling overwhelming. Everything was easy to use, and I spent around three hours exploring. Definitely worth it.
The whole visit was really smooth from start to finish. The timed entry meant we didn't have to wait long, and the audio guide was easy to follow. It was nice learning about Van Gogh's life while walking through the galleries at our own pace. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
Highly recommend!! A beautiful museum. One note though - we paid extra for the audio guide. Even though we chose to do the extensive audio guide tour, the extra money was not worth the audio guide. Most of what's on the audio guide tour is already written on the walls. There's no need to pay extra for the audio guide tour. Aside from that, the experience was absolutely perfect. We love Van Gogh.
