Entre na King's College! Fundada pelo Rei Henrique VI, com sucessivas adições de King's (daí o nome). A capela tem o maior teto coberto no mundo e até mesmo um Rubens, uma vez a pintura mais cara já comprada. É fácil ver por que inúmeros reis e rainhas visitaram, e por que sua visita não pode ser completa sem entrar! Este tour irá apresentá-lo ao papel crucial de Cambridge na história mundial e destacar as maravilhas arquitetônicas da cidade, com nossos guias universitários. Além disso, o tour entrará no King's College! Os locais cobertos incluem a igreja mais antiga de Cambridge (1033), o Colégio mais antigo (1284) e o laboratório famoso pela descoberta de DNA. Junto com monumentos de Cambridge, como a Ponte Matemática e a Casa do Senado, onde a graduação foi realizada nos últimos 300 anos. Sem dúvida, o destaque do seu passeio será entrar na impressionante Capela do King's College. A pedra fundamental foi lançada pelo próprio rei Henrique VI, e sucessivos reis ingleses fornecendo adições cada vez mais ambiciosas (daí o nome!). A capela é o lar do maior teto abobadado do mundo, adornado com majestosos vitrais e há até uma pintura de Rubens (que já foi a pintura mais cara já comprada).
Peterhouse foi o primeiro colégio da universidade, fundado em 1284. O grupo vai parar do lado de fora, onde você pode admirar a esplêndida capela do colégio e aprender mais sobre estudantes famosos, como o poeta Thomas Gray.
A excursão terminará fora do Pembroke College - o terceiro mais antigo da faculdade em Cambridge - onde nosso experiente guia do aluno contará sua história, incluindo detalhes sobre a capela da faculdade, projetada por Sir Christopher Wren. Embora a entrada seja gratuita, o Colégio não admite grupos maiores que 6, portanto, sugerimos que você retorne aqui após o passeio com todo o conhecimento histórico em mente.

A ponte matemática é uma das pontes mais reconhecidas em Cambridge e tem uma história de origem bastante estranha. Nosso guia do aluno lhe dirá a lenda popular e depois esclarecerá quais eram as origens reais da ponte.
O grupo fará uma parada na entrada do Clare College nas costas, o nome local do caminho que conduz atrás das faculdades centrais, onde você aprenderá sobre sua história. Além disso, nesta parada, nosso guia destacará a Biblioteca da Universidade do outro lado da rua.
Esta ponte oferece uma bela vista do rio Cam. No lado direito, você verá a ponte do Clare College, a ponte mais antiga de Cambridge. Em frente, há a impressionante Biblioteca Jerwood do Trinity Hall, que foi projetada para parecer um navio! É uma parada obrigatória para fotos!
Fora da Câmara do Senado, nosso guia do aluno fornecerá todos os detalhes peculiares da cerimônia de formatura em Cambridge, realizada na Câmara do Senado nos últimos 300 anos.
O famoso vizinho e rival do Trinity College. Aqui você aprenderá sobre sua reputação e sobre o privilégio especial que os colegas do Colégio compartilham com a Família Real.
A excursão terminará no Trinity College, onde você aprenderá mais sobre ex-alunos famosos como Sir Isaac Newton e Prince Charles. Você verá 'a macieira' e ouvirá a história incrivelmente cômica atrás da estátua de Henrique VIII acima do portão.

It’s a wonderful tour. It was a great experience to receive so much history and knowledge from the perspective of a Cambridge Alumni, Mark. My kids also loved his information and explanations. It was a real joy, thank you Mark
Mark gave us a wonderful guide throughout the tour. He gave was interesting and relevant information with a touch of fine English humor and his personal take on events. Our family (including two teenagers) agreed unanimously that this was a very worthwhile experience.
We had the most incredible two hour tour of Cambridge University with Sonia, who was truly exceptional from start to finish. Our group ranged from a 14‑year‑old to a 75‑year‑old, and every single person was completely engaged the entire time — which says everything about how talented she is as a guide. Sonia blended deep, fascinating knowledge with humour, intellect, and brilliant storytelling, making every stop feel alive and interesting. From exploring Trinity College, crossing the bridge to The Backs, admiring the Mathematical Bridge, hearing the history of Queens’ College and wandering past the Cavendish science building where electrons and protons were discovered, she filled the tour with facts and insights that were both captivating and easy to follow. You never felt rushed, and everyone was able to walk comfortably and enjoy the experience. The pay‑what-you-think-it’s-worth model is such a clever and refreshing approach and honestly, Sonia’s tour was worth every bit of praise and more. She was simply outstanding. If you’re visiting Cambridge, do yourself a favour and book a tour with Sonia. You’ll learn, you’ll laugh, and you’ll love every minute.

A really interesting walk that gave a mix of history, life as a student as well quirky, humorous content. Very enjoyable and well worth the 2 hours of time. Charlotte was an excellent communicator!
Interesting and engaging tour. Mark was very knowledgeable about the history of Cambridge, including its most intriguing and often overlooked details. Overall, this was quite an eye-opening experience.

We had such a wonderful tour of Cambridge with Mark and would absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting Cambridge. From the very beginning, the history was brought to life in such an engaging, relaxed and enjoyable way. Mark is incredibly knowledgeable, but what makes the tour really special is the way he shares that knowledge as it never feels like a history lesson, but rather like a fascinating conversation full of stories, humour and little details that make you see Cambridge differently. It is very clear that Mark not only knows Cambridge extremely well, but truly loves the city and what he does. We laughed so much throughout the tour, learned a huge amount, and honestly didn’t want it to end. The time went by far too quickly. Thank you, Mark, for such a memorable, warm and thoroughly enjoyable experience. It was one of the highlights of our visit to Cambridge and we would happily do another tour with you.
